Position Purpose: To advance the mission of Oakland Christian School by supporting the continued development of an authentic Christ-centered community that intentionally cultivates Christ-like character in its students. The Elementary School is dedicated to engaging students in classes and activities that build a spiritual foundation and biblical worldview. Openings within the Elementary range from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Job Requirements: Candidates must be professing and maturing Christians enthusiastically supporting the school's statement of faith and mission statement.

A valid Michigan teaching certificate or ability to obtain upon hire.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a classroom teacher in a school setting with experience in classroom management, lesson planning, curriculum mapping, following pacing guides and conducting assessments for assigning report card grades.

Oakland Christian School is located thirty miles northwest of Detroit, Michigan with an early education through twelfth grade enrollment of over 500. OCS is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International.
