Elementary Instructional Aide

Position Purpose: To advance the mission of Oakland Christian School by supporting the continued development of an authentic Christ-centered community that intentionally cultivates Christ-like character in its students. The Elementary School is dedicated to engaging students in classes and activities that build a spiritual foundation and biblical worldview.

Job Requirements: Candidates must be professing and maturing Christians enthusiastically supporting the school's statement of faith and mission statement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in a school setting to help them understand lessons taught by the teacher as well as work with groups of students on a particular subject or topic. Candidates will also help supervise students and organize the learning materials. Other job duties may include grading papers, preparing supplies for the lesson plan, and straightening up the classroom.

Oakland Christian School is located thirty miles northwest of Detroit, Michigan with an early education through twelfth grade enrollment of over 500. OCS is accredited by Christian Schools International.
