Removing & Recreating your Office 365 Account on your iPhone or iPad

To reconfigure (remove/re-add) your iPhone or iPad for O365, you will need to delete your existing Yale email account from your mail application.

If you have not previously set up your Yale email account to your iPhone, skip to step 4.

To view an instructional video on how to set up/re-add your new O365 on your iPhone, view the Microsoft support video. The video is titled "Use the built in iOS mail app to set up O365 or Exchangebased work or school email accounts"

1 To delete your existing @yale.edu email address, tap the Settings icon on your home screen.

Select the tab for Mail,

Contacts and Calendars

and tap your @yale.edu

email address.

Your @yale.edu email address may be under the title "Exchange."

3 Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account.

A pop up message will appear at the bottom of the screen ? tap Delete from my iPhone.

You have successfully deleted your pre-existing @yale.edu account.

4 To set up your @yale.edu email address on your iPhone, tap the Settings icon on the home screen. You can also view these steps in a video here.

5 Select the tab for Mail, Contacts and Calendaring.

6 Tap Add Account.

7 Select Exchange.
