Member Spotlight: HighRoad Wealth Advisors

Every month, the Coos Bay Downtown Association turns the spotlight to one of our CBDA members. This month's spotlight is on Monie Frost the Branch Manager at OneMain Finan-

cial, located at 10 S 4th St, Coos Bay, OR 97420 . Visit their website at

Tell us about your business. OneMain provides loans and other credit-related products to more than 10 million customers in 44 states. For more than 100 years, we've provided the personal lending products our customers need when they need them.

How long have you been operating downtown? We have been in downtown Coos Bay since 2005 operating as American General and Springleaf Financial until October 2016 when the name was changed to OneMain.

How long have you been a Coos Bay Downtown Association member? We have been a member of the Downtown Association since 2010.

Why are you a downtown association member? We are members because we are all part of this close knit community in which we live. Being involved in the heart of our downtown area in Coos Bay allows us to impact the lives of community members and business owners every day. We can give back to our local community and help individuals meet their financial needs while networking with other local businesses to help serve their customers as well.

What is your favorite place downtown? My favorite place downtown is Little Italy ? LOVE the food!!

Do you have any advice for new business owners? My best advice for new business owners in the area would be NETWORK with other businesses. Join the Downtown Association, attend the functions, meet your peers and share what your business has to offer in this wonderful community.

When you are not working, where in Coos Bay do you like to spend your time? When I am not working, I love to spend my time exploring our beaches and trails along Cape Arago Highway. We live in a Hiker's Disneyland and I'm always up for a Coos Bay Adventure!

Thank you Monie Frost and OneMain!

If you are a member of the CBDA and are interested in being highlighted or nominating another member for the spotlight, please contact our office at info@.

Social media is a dialogue. It gives customers an opportunity to interact with your business and your content in a personal way. Email marketing reaches a targeted list

When you utilize email marketing for your business, you can reach targeted customers--people on your subscription list and others who have asked to be included when you send out news and updates. Mostly, your email audience is made up of people who have already expressed interest in your business, as well as existing and loyal customers.

Social media has a wider reach

Social media gives you the opportunity to reach the people you hope to add to your email lists. You can use social channels to reach out to more people from differing backgrounds, interests and locations to try to expand your customer base.
