HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SALARY SCHEDULES

This Salary Schedule book has been prepared by the Division of Human Resources, Department of Employee Relations, Marie Whelan, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Mark West, General Manager of Employee Relations.

IMPLEMENTATION PROVISIONS: 1. Employees must be on active, paid status at the time any eligible salary

adjustments or payments are paid. 2. As of July 1, 2005, all salaries are based on an hourly rate.

3. Effective implementation dates vary according to the Board adopted and / or respectively negotiated provisions.

4. Terminal pay will be paid at the appropriate previous rate if the retirement (including DROP) termination, or resignation occurs prior to implementation.

FORWARD

This Salary Handbook contains the salary schedules applicable to Instructional and Instructional Support personnel pursuant to the negotiated agreements with the representative unions in effect for this fiscal year.

Additionally, the salary schedules for Administrative Exempt, Professional/ Technical Exempt and Non-Represented personnel are included in this Handbook.

Regulations and policies contained herein are not intended to supplement or modify the contractual provisions between the Hillsborough County School Board and the represented bargaining units.

IN ALL INSTANCES, THE AGREEMENT AND PROVISIONS OF EACH BARGAINING UNIT CONTRACT WILL SUPERCEDE THE CONTENTS OF THIS SALARY HANDBOOK.
