Your task: Research the questions below and have ready a quick answer (En Español) to the questions. Your responses for either argument should be practiced and rehearsed until you are comfortable with it. You should find MULTIPLE ARTICLES/SOURCES to help form your stance on each of the questions below. You may research your articles in English or Spanish, but our debate / Socratic seminar must be conducted in Español ( You will need to refer to the articles/ site them, so be prepared to do that. You may use your own opinion and or personal experiences. Record your responses on index cards to use during class THIS block day.

1. Why would you support illegal immigration?

2. Why would you be against it?

3. How does illegal immigration benefit the United States?

4. What are some potential problems that can come from illegal immigration?

5. Should illegal aliens receive any of the rights or benefits that lawful permanent residents enjoy?

6. Should the US build a physical barrier, such as a fence, along the US-Mexico border?

7. What should the US do with the illegal aliens already in the county?

Now, come up with two additional questions YOU can ask (en español) during the socratic seminar/ debate.
