Exhibition Hours Tuesday, September 24: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Expo The expo will be held September 24-25. We encourage you to visit the expo. Please let us know if your company is interested in exhibiting or sponsorship to increase your exposure. More information can be found HERE.

Program The current technical web program can be found HERE.

Proceedings Instructions on how to access the proceedings will be given to you at the conference when you pick-up your registration and conference materials. The link to the proceedings will not be provided in advance. The link to access the PPTs will be emailed out to attendees following the conference.

Registration All speakers, session chairs, and panelists are expected to register. Please note there is a discounted speaker rate. Please register via the SMTA International REGISTRATION PAGE.

Travel Details

Accommodations All speakers, panel and keynote speakers are responsible for arranging their own travel arrangements. The SMTA does not cover travel expenses. Hotel reservations can be made via the special group rate website. Hotel rooms will sell out so BOOK YOUR HOTEL in advance. The hotel block special rate expires September 9, 2019.

The hotels are located across from the Donald E. Stephens Convention and Conference Center, and only a five-minute drive from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is just south of the Kennedy Expressway and east of Chicago O'Hare International Airport and the Tri-State Tollway.

Third Party Fraud Alert Reservations should be made using the reservation link below or calling the hotel directly and referencing the SMTA International Conference. We do not use a housing company. Please be aware of any individuals or companies that contact you to book your hotel reservations or offers a reduced rate as it is unauthorized and fraudulent. The SMTA is not responsible for housing issues that result from booking accommodations independently of the SMTAI room block offered through the website.

Complimentary Shuttle Enjoy complimentary shuttle service to the airport 24 hours a day. Contact the hotel front desk for shuttle times.

Parking Convention Center parking garages are $13/day.

Visa approval (International Speakers) International visitors may need a Visa to enter the United States. Because of world events, Visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. The greater scrutiny means a longer waiting period; therefore the State Department recommends that you begin your Visa application process well in advance of your travel dates. ? Visa requirements vary from country to country. Contact the US embassy or consulate in the

country where you live to determine if you will need a Visa and/or a Visa support letter to visit the United States. ? If you need a Visa support letter, please contact Karlie at karlie@ with your request. SMTA will review your request and email you a letter to support your Visa application. Please indicate if you need an original sent via U.S. mail or if a PDF on letterhead is acceptable. ? If for some reason you do not receive your Visa in time to attend, your registration fee will be refunded. *Please Note: If you are unable to attend due to Visa non-approval, your paper cannot be included in the conference proceedings.
