The genesis of the reation oalition of T began in late 1999

The genesis of the Creation Coalition of CT began in late 1999 when the Lord led Drew Crandall to script and buy primetime ads during Christmas week on WTIC-AM1080 News/Talk Radio. Why? To inspire and encourage Christians to think about exporting their faith into everyday worklife as they celebrated the birth of Christ and entered the new year and millenium. One person who heard and responded to the radio ad was a local business owner, Russell Stone with Scranton Financial Group. The two men met, and Russ shared his passion for creation science. Under the auspices of Northeast Christians At Work, a 501c3 not-for-profit ministry in Vernon led by Crandall, the two men collaborated with Answers In Genesis to bring AIG's "Back to Genesis" seminar to First Cathedral in Bloomfield in September of 2000. The conference was well attended, and revealed to Drew and Russ that there was a significant undercurrent of interest in creation science in Connecticut's largely secular culture.

Since 2000, the Creation Coalition of CT has hosted or assisted with about 25 creation science events at churches and school auditoriums in Connecticut. We've had displays at various events, built a statewide e-community through our website and e-news, coordinated media interviews, placed creation ads in local media, and given away thousands of free information sheets, posters, booklets and DVDs that point souls to a creation worldview. By God's grace, we've done this as a grassroots movement with no paid staff or overhead. Our events have been free or at nominal cost.

Please pray for us, visit , sign up for our e-news, promote and participate in upcoming events!
