Use should to make a new sentence which has the same meaning, or to comment on the sentence.

1. I expect the bus will be here soon.

2. I sent my family a letter last week. I expect it has arrived.

3. I didn't bring a sweater, and now I'm cold.

4. It's 1:30. I expect the students are in class.

5. I took a shortcut going home, but I got lost.

6. If you study hard, I expect you can pass.

7. The child is 1 1 /2 years old now. I expect she is able to walk.

8. The student studied hard for the test, but didn't pass.

9. The student didn't study hard for the test, so she didn't pass.

10. I expect to be accepted any day now.
