The Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) Chapter Report Card shows a snapshot of key measures for each chapter in the FGCU FSL Community. The FGCU FSL Community believes in respect and equality for all of its members, providing Brotherhood and Sisterhood through service, scholarship, and leadership opportunities that contribute to and improve the college experience. FGCU's Greek Community fulfills this mission by:

Promoting the intellectual, social, recreational, moral, and career development of students Providing opportunities for training in leadership to enhance personal and social skills Promoting student involvement in co-curricular activities Offering undergraduates an opportunity for personal development, organizational management, and self-governance Fostering an appreciation for different lifestyles and cultural heritages Promoting scholarship and participation in community service projects Fostering and building strong alumni relationships

Chapter Report Card Key

Active = A recognized chartered organization that has at least four active members, has been fully recognized by FGCU, the Office of Student Involvement, and their respective Greek governing council, has been granted all rights, privileges, obligations, and appropriate use of university resources as a fraternity or sorority.

Active ? Colonized or Chartered = An organization that has been extended an invitation by the University to colonize/expand and charter at FGCU.

Inactive = An organization that has lost all or some university privileges, as deemed necessary by the Office of Student Involvement. Unrecognized = An organization that is not a registered student organization (fraternity or sorority) at FGCU or recognized by their national

organization. Academic Probation = An organization is placed under this status when the organization's semester grade point average falls below a 2.5.

This status can result in a loss of university privileges, as deemed necessary by the Office of Student Involvement. Conduct Probation = An organization placed under this status has been found responsible for violating the Student Code of Conduct. This

status can result in the loss of university privileges and/or educational sanctions have been imposed on the organization by the Office of Student Conduct. Conduct** = The numbers under this section represent the number of times an organization has been found responsible for the specified student code of conduct violations (i.e. Hazing, Alcohol, Sexual Misconduct, & Other) since January 2015. n/a = Data was not reported by the chapter.

Standards of Fraternal Excellence (SFE) Program

The SFE Program provides a set of minimum standards by which all fraternity and sorority chapters will be measured annually in order to maintain a level of good standing with FGCU and their national organization. All chapters are responsible for meeting the minimum target requirements within the following standards categories: Scholarship and Intellectual Development, Community Service & Philanthropy, Programming and Collaboration, and Leadership & Membership Development. This program runs annually from January to December. All chapters must receive a minimum of 10 points in each category and 40 total points. At the end of every fall semester the overall recognition levels will be reported and specifying if the chapter achieved a minimum of 10 points or exceeded the 10 point minimum.
