Upgrade firmware via Network

------For DVRs with MPEG4 network transmission

Step 1, Double click on Video Viewer “[pic]” icon on PC desktop to run the AP software (if there is not this icon, please install the software).

Step 2, Login the DVR (take LAN login for example, other method please read manual): Press “[pic]” (Add) button on the AP control panel and key in the following DVR settings. After setup, press “Apply” button to confirm the settings. See the example below:

Step 3: Select “[pic]” (Main Control) → “[pic]” (Tools) to enter upgrading window.

Choose the IP address of your DVR from the drop-down list, or click “Search” to find. Then key in the user name, password and port number used to access your DVR remotely.

(1). in the “Firmware” tab, you will see the current firmware version. To upgrade the firmware version of your DVR, press “Add” to locate and select the firmware file. The file will be shown in the firmware list.

(2) To start upgrading the DVR firmware, choose the file from the firmware list, and click “Update Firmware” to start the upgrade process. It need 5~10 minutes to finish all process.
