JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the Director, Division of Rate Counsel, assists in the overall management of the Division. Supervises the Division's non-attorney staff, overseeing their daily performance and ensuring their efforts are coordinated, efficient and consistent with their official job descriptions. Oversees fiscal operations of the Division and assists Director with budget issues. Ensures that the purchasing process of goods and services is in accordance with established procurement rules and regulations. Personally issues the annual statutory assessments of utilities making sure they are accurately calculated, and processed and paid in a timely manner. Coordinates with Treasury fiscal and human resources staff to facilitate and support Division operations. Serves as Division's Compliance Officer ensuring all staff understand and comply with all State policies. Coordinates the process regarding staff attendance at utility-related conferences, seminars, training and meetings including preparing the necessary registration paperwork for all events and serves as the liaison to Treasury representatives and event coordinators. Supervises the development and production of the Division's publications, oversees preparation of agency reports and drafts correspondence for the Director; does other related duties as required. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of experience in program management with responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, staffing, reporting, and budgeting or in assisting an executive with program development and implementation.

NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute experience as indicated above on a year-for-year basis.
