TYPES OF SPORTS WAGERS

ALTERNATIVE LINE also known as Teasers and Pleasers. A teaser is a wager in which a team(s) are bet, but the bettor adjusts the spreads for less favorable odds. A pleaser is the opposite, where as the bettor wants to make a more difficult spread for more favorable odds.

FUTURES ("Outright" or "Place") betting is where it is possible to choose from a list of alternatives and bet on the eventuality that a participant wins or places within a specified position in the classification of the listed event/competition.

IN-GAME WAGERING is a service offered by books in which bettors can place multiple bets in real time, as the game is occurring.
