STRANGE PHENOMENA AND THE BIBLE
“Biblical evidence for the existence of Aliens”
Interest in UFO’s and Alien contact have boomed in the last 15 years, Many who once put their faith in evolution now lean more toward the “Alien theory”. UFO’s and Alien’s have become big business in everything from books and movies to comics and candy. “Full disclosure” has become the catch phrase for UFO buffs, conspiracy theorists, and late night radio talk shows. Should these people be labeled kooks and pushed aside or are there real aliens with a benevolent plan for mankind. What about the Abduction experience, UFO sightings, and alleged government cover-ups? What does the Bible say if anything about these strange and scary happenings?
This paper is my theory about UFO’s, Aliens, abductions and other strange phenomena based on a Biblical perspective. I’ve been a Christian for 30 years and have been in study on this subject for some 7 years. I believe the Bible gives us clues to some of these unique albeit strange matters. This paper will include evidence from the Holy Bible, ancient texts, historical records as well as several conjectures and personal beliefs of my own. Hopefully this paper will help to open the minds of Christians to the possible events that will occur that are not in line with mainstream Christian thought, but are consistent with and even inferred scenarios of end-time events of human history. To help give a better Biblical understanding of topics that are non-traditional to show that God reveals himself in everything.
It is my belief that when a person sets out to take a look at Religion or a certain subject to find truth the very start should be the Holy Bible. It would be a worthy endeavor to first discover if the Bible is indeed what it purports to be, 66 books written by 40 authors over a period of 2 thousand years that conforms to one cohesive work, a work that is outside of our three dimensional world, outside of time, written by God thru men. Once a person discovers this fact and realizes the perfection of the word of God it is then the answers come. It is from this perspective that I will present my case.
THE EVOLUTION THEORY
There are those who believe in creation and those who do not. To believe in creation is the belief that God in his wisdom created the universe and everything within. However, for those who have not wished to believe it means there has to be another way, an answer that can explain our existence outside of a living God. It was not until 1859 upon the publishing of Charles Darwin’s “Origin of the Species” that any opposing view was largely popularized. Today’s scientists who believe in evolution far out number the creationists and the overlaying result of this over the decades has been the over popularization of the evolutionary view. Scientists are mostly brilliant studied men who are to be admired and looked up to. I would like to point out however a fact stated by Chuck Missler of Koinonia house ministry 61 that scientists are viewed in their statements that whatever they have to say is a matter of science while the truth of the matter is that they are full of preconceived idea’s and opinions which shape their everyday endeavors. The push has been so strong that evolution has been instilled into our lives at almost every turn. It has been instituted as fact rather then theory, it is in our museums and schools our literature and entertainment with a total lack of scientific evidence to support the theory. In fact, science over the last 50 years has actually provided evidence for the creation theory. The absence of evidence makes the doctrine of evolution a wish or a belief but not a scientific fact. The argument of creation versus evolution is a highly charged emotional issue. If one can somehow look at both the creation and evolutionary views with an open minded look at the evidence I believe it is possible and indeed inevitable to come to the realization that scientific evidence and faith can be molded seamlessly into the creation model. The purpose here is not to defame the believers of evolution but to show that creation is a viable theory that has the backing of scientific, archeological, and Biblical evidence.
It was not until the 1960’s that the neo-Darwinists really began fighting among themselves in earnest. A milestone meeting was the Wistar Institute Symposium held in Philadelphia in April 1966. The chairman, Sir Peter Medawar, made the following remark: “The immediate cause of this conference is a pretty widespread sense of dissatisfaction about what has come to be thought as the accepted evolutionary theory in the English-speaking world, the so-called neo-Darwinian theory. These objections to current neo-Darwinian theory are very widely held among biologists generally; and we must on no account, I think, make light of them.”1
A number of mathematicians familiar with the biological problems spoke, for example Murray Eden of MIT, explained, “Life could not begin by the “random selection,” which is the basic pillar of evolutionary teaching.” Yet he said that if randomness is set aside, then only “design” would remain—and that would require purposive planning by Intelligence. 2 For four days the Wistar convention continued, during which a key lecture was delivered by M.P. Schutzenberger, a computer scientist, who explained that computers are large enough now to totally work out the mathematical probabilities of the evolutionary theory—and they demonstrate that it is really fiction. 3
Additional meetings were held in 1980 at Chicago and 1984 in New York. In the October 1980 meeting in Chicago it was decided that no record would be kept of the sessions, in order not to give ammunition to the creationists. This statement alone shows the high level of emotional involvement and commitment to the evolutionary theory. The rapid accumulation of evidence against evolutionary theory had brought a crisis of such proportions that most of those in attendance decided to repudiate a cardinal Darwinian doctrine; they agreed that small changes from generation to generation within a species
could never accumulate to produce a new species. 4
The 1984 meeting was held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Colin Patterson, senior paleontologist at the British Museum of Natural History, in a paper that he presented to the assembly, declared before his peers that evolution was “positively anti-knowledge,” and that “all my life I had been duped into taking evolution as revealed truth”5 That same year another scientist wrote “An increasing number of scientists, most particularly a growing number of evolutionists argue that Darwinian evolutionary theory is no genuine scientific theory at all…Many of the critics have the highest intellectual credentials” 6
Finally, commenting on the crisis that had come to the evolutionary camp, Niles Eldredge, head of the department of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History, later wrote: “The doubt that has infiltrated the previously smug confident certitude of evolutionary biology’s last twenty years had inflamed passions. There has been a total lack of agreement even within the warring camps. Things are really in an uproar these days. Sometimes it seems as though there are as many variations on each [evolutionary] theme as there are individual biologists”7
Other well educated and intelligent men such as Molecular biologist and medical doctor Michael Denton says: “Ultimately the Darwinian theory of evolution is no more no less then the great cosmogenic myth of the twentieth century.”62 Dr. Louis Bounoure, Director of the Zoological Museum and Director of Research at the National Center of Scientific Research in France declares “Evolution is a fairy tale for grown ups.” 63 Winner of the Noble prize for Physics Arthur L. Schawlow observes “When confronted with the marvels of life and the universe, the only possible answers are religious…I find a need for God in the universe and in my own life.”64 Charles Darwin himself expressed serious doubts about the idea of evolution. He attempted to rationalize these doubts, but their force and power remained with him and also remain to this day. In his chapter on instinct he conceded such “simple” instincts as bees making a beehive could be “sufficient to overthrow my whole theory.” And to think that the eye could evolve “by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree” In his chapter on the imperfections in the geological record he complained that the complete lack of fossil intermediates in the geological record was perhaps “the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory.”65
The long trumpeted sayings of evolutionists that (Science proves evolution) are not only weak but rather the evidence points to intelligent design by a creator. What had been taboo to mention in the hollowed halls of science is now routinely discussed, that evolution is not really science but rather an alternative for those who refuse to believe in a creator. I believe the issue is a spiritual one for both sides of the argument. Creationists obviously believe there is a spirit behind their view. Can it be possible that there is another kind of spirit behind the opposed evolutionary view? The science of creation and lack of evolution evidence speaks volumes. Evolutions rapid decline from it’s decades long facade “as best” and deception “at worst” means for many who refuse to accept the creation of the Bible and the free gift of God’s grace is that another “reason” for mankind must be found outside of creation. One such “reason” is the “Alien theory.”
THE ALIEN THEORY
Over the last 50 years the United States has warmed up to the idea of aliens, no longer is extraterrestrial life thought of as “B” movie fodder on a dull Saturday afternoon at the theater. Gallup polls from the mid 1990’s revealed that 72% of Americans believe in extraterrestrials, 48% believe in UFO’s, 15% believe they have seen a UFO and 3% believe they have been abducted by a UFO! 8 According to the National UFO reporting center statistics UFO reports are up from 3 per year in the decade of the 40’s to 8 per year in the 50’s, 26 per year in the 60’s, 44 per year in the 70’s and 80’s, 712 per year in the 90’s and currently the rate of UFO reports is over 2 thousand per year! 9
The basis of the “Alien Theory” is that aliens from some distant planet planted Homosapiens or some pre Homosapien race here on earth millennia ago that evolved into the modern human of today. There are many twists to the theory some with as many as dozens of different alien races involved. One reason for the mass influx of “alien theory” switchovers is due to one major advancement over evolution: Evidence! There is (with giant amounts of fakes and frauds) a rather large amount of creditable data. Add to this numerous credible witnesses including military men, airline pilots, several astronauts and even a US president! The issue has been important enough for government investigation since the 1940’s. Not only the United States but other countries as well. In 1999 the French released a document entitled “Les Ovnis et la Defense: A quio. Doit-on se prepare?” The translation is “UFO’s and Defense: For what should we prepare?”10 Argentina, Brazil, Russia, China, and Canada just to name a few also have Government UFO investigations.
ROSWELL
Probably the most famous and certainly the most well known early UFO flap was the 1947 Roswell incident. In July 1947 W.W “Mac” Brazel, Forman on the Foster ranch in New Mexico reported to Roswell Sheriff George Wilcox that he found a very strange crash of some sort on the ranch that he thought could be a UFO. The debris field was approximately ¾ a mile long and a couple hundred feet wide. After the Sheriff reported it to Intelligence Officer Major Jesse Marcel of the 509th Bomb Group and he had a chance to inspect the site the entire area was cordoned off and filled with Military personnel. On July 8th at 11:00 A.M. Walter Haut, public relations officer for the base “Roswell Army Airfield, RAAF” finished the press release that he’d been ordered to write and gave copies of the release to two radio stations and both of the newspapers. By 2:26 P.M. this story was out on the AP wire. “Roswell NM, The Army Air Forces here today announced a flying disk has been found.” Hours later the first press release was rescinded and a second press release stated that the 509th Bomb Group had mistakenly identified a weather balloon as wreckage of a flying saucer. Brigadier General Thomas DuBose, the chief of staff of the Eighth Air Force many years later said, “It was a cover story, the whole balloon part of it. That was the part of the story we were told to give to the public and news and that was it.”11 In April 1996 former Apollo 14 Astronaut Ed Mitchell on the television program “Dateline NBC” said it was his belief that NASA was involved in covering up Roswell. Something happened in Roswell New Mexico in July 1947 for that we can be certain but was is nothing more then a weather experiment? Or is there more to the story that has been covered up?
Roswell New Mexico in 1947 was a very small town, the kind of town where everyone pretty much knows everyone else. I have a close Christian friend who actually lived in and around Roswell in the 1940’s and who had many friends and relatives living there in 1947 at the time of the alleged crash. She told me the events that transpired during the month of July 1947. The first thing she said was that “Roswell” was true. That it was all true, that some kind of spacecraft did in fact crash in the desert on the Foster ranch and everyone knew it had happened. She said that herself and everyone else around was so excited to know that we were actually being visited by beings from another planet. One of her Christian friends a young man named Glenn Dennis who lived in Roswell and also worked at the Ballard Funeral Home Mortuary told her that the military called the Mortuary looking for three coffins that could be hermetically sealed. When Mr. Glenn drove out to the Military base he was not allowed his usual access. “He had routine business at the base” On this occasion the Hospital personnel came out to where he had been stopped. One of the Nurses that Mr. Glenn knew well on a working friendship was among the Hospital personnel to come out. This Nurse told him that he would not believe what was going on and that they could not talk now but set up a lunch the next day. At the lunch she told him that 3 Alien bodies were in fact in the Morgue at the Military Hospital. They were small, around child size and that the smell was terrible. She then scribbled out on a sheet of paper some drawings of the things she had seen. A few days later the Nurse was transferred to a base in England, as were many that had knowledge of this event. The Military according to my friend went around from ranch to ranch all around the area and “informed” the people that all of this was nothing and that they should talk nothing of it whatsoever and further that no rumor or discussions of any sort should continue on, and although it was not said directly it was inferred that if someone were to talk about it openly that it was possible something could happen to them.60

There has been a tremendous amount of interest in the Roswell incident, seemingly too much and to high profile to simply be a weather balloon experiment gone awry. In July 1994, the office of the Secretary of the Air Force concluded an exhaustive search for records in response to a General Accounting Office (GOA) inquiry. The focus of the GAO probe, initiated at the request of a member of Congress, was to determine if the U.S. Air Force, or any other U.S. government agency, possessed information on the alleged crash and recovery of an extraterrestrial vehicle and its alien occupants near Roswell N.M. in July 1947. No information was found. In addition to this on March 2nd 1997 New Mexico Representative Jon “Andy” Kissner announced his plans to initiate a witness protection program for those involved in retrieval operations near Roswell, during the last two weeks of July 1947.
I do not know if a UFO crash landed in Roswell N.M. in 1947. What is known for fact is that something crashed out there and it was covered up by the U.S. Military. I do know however that my friend believes very strongly as do many people around the country and especially in the Roswell area. It is a matter that has been taken very seriously by the U.S. Government and even members of Congress.
EARLY EVIDENCES
UFO phenomena by no means started in 1947. In fact there are evidences of possible UFO phenomena recorded in the most ancient of times. Every major ancient culture has folklore of Gods that came down from the sky on silver discs or they worshipped the Gods from the silver discs or the Gods that came from the sky. I present this next series of ancient works as fodder for discussion, I do not know exactly what we are looking at; I only present them for your consideration.

I do not know exactly what the artists are trying to say in these paintings. Perhaps they convey their belief that Christ came from or is controlled by beings from space? It certainly tends to lead the viewer to the idea that Christ was something other then plain human. No conclusions can be made from these ancient paintings but I think it does show the idea that there is some type of mysterious outside power to Christ. It also shows that the idea of flying machines and spacecraft is not a new idea but one that has been around since the beginning of time.
CREDIBLE SIGHTINGS
Washington D.C. July 1952: One of the more credible early mass sightings happened here on the 19th and 20th July and again the 26th and 27th of July and also on the 2nd and 3rd of August. The Unidentified Flying Objects were spotted by hundreds of people on the ground and many pictures were taken but the really incredible part about the sighting is the fact that what people were seeing in the skies was confirmed by 2 separate radar systems at 3 tracking stations. Washington National Airports Microwave-Early-Warning Radar (MEW), Bolling Air force base across the Potomac on the ASR-2 Radar, and Nearby Andrews Air force Base. All three stations were conferring by telephone to be sure they were all tracking the same objects. Air force jet interceptors were scrambled. Furthermore several Airline pilots confirmed the radar blips by visual confirmations.12 As can be imagined the public wanted answers, with the flood of calls and questions by reporters and citizens the U.S. Air force called the largest press conference since WWII. It was held in room E-3-369 of the Pentagon and was presided over by Air Force Intelligent Chief, Major General John Samford. The explanation given for the sightings was something called a “Temperature inversion” which is the immediate cause of a mirage. The General suggested that the lights from the ground may have simply looked like they were in the air because an inversion can act like an “air lens” and bend light rays. He added that something similar could have tricked radar into thinking it was tracking aerial targets which were actually ground objects.13 In May 1953 a report on the incident by the Civil Aeronautics Administration of Indianapolis summarized that the unusual phenomena was indeed caused by temperature inversion.14

Apparently the CIA however was not so convinced. On the same day as General Samford’s press conference a memo was sent from Ralph Clark the acting assistant director for scientific intelligence to the Deputy Director of Intelligence and stated “In the past several weeks, a number of radar and visual sightings of unidentified aerial objects have been reported. Although this office has maintained a continuing review of such reputed sightings during the past three years, a special study group has been formed to review this subject to date”14
A few days later a memo was sent to the Assistant Director from Edward Tauss “…so long as a series of reports remains “unexplainable (interplanetary aspects and alien origin not being thoroughly excluded from consideration) caution requires that intelligence continue coverage of the subject”15
The CIA set up a special study group called “The Scientific Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects” All this was after the “official reason” was already given to be temperature inversion. Years later in 1969 in an Air force scientific report it was stated that inversions strong enough to create the effects with which General Samford credited them could not exist in the Earths atmosphere and that probably no UFO report had ever been caused by a temperature inversion or mirage.16
Thursday March 13th 1997 was the date of perhaps the best documented UFO sighting in history. The sighting dubbed the “Phoenix Lights” were seen by thousands and resulted in dozens of photographs and videotapes. It all started at 8:16 P.M. In Paulden, Arizona about 60 miles south of Phoenix. A former police officer reported that he and his family witnessed some unusual lights moving very rapidly across the night sky. He described what he saw as “a very strange cluster of distinctly red-orange lights, which consisted of 4-5 red lights in the lead, followed by a single light which appeared to be standing back from the others. The lights in the lead gave the impression of being in a “V” formation, somewhat like a wedge or a boomerang in shape.” Then at 8:17 P.M. in Prescott a town about 50 miles North of Phoenix callers reported they witnessed 4 or 5 very bright lights pass overhead. One witness was standing outside with his wife and sons in Prescott Valley when they noticed a cluster of lights in the West-Northwest. They observed for several minutes as the lights passed directly over their heads, banked to the right and then disappeared to the Southeast. A report came from Dewey, AZ, about 10 miles south of Prescott. Six people driving north on Highway 69 towards Prescott witnessed a large cluster of lights in the form of a “V” shape in the sky. They pulled off the road into a grocery store parking lot and got out of their car in order to get a better look at the lights. By then, the lights were directly above them, where they appeared to hover for several minutes. The caller an experienced flyer, estimated the completely silent object to be not over 1,000 feet above the ground and moving at a very slow pace. The next reports were from Chino Valley, Tempe, Glendale, and Phoenix and finally toward Casa Grande and Tucson. A Tucson man watched the formation of lights from 8:45 to after 9:00. Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center in Seattle, Washington, received hundreds of calls on the sighting and said:
“The incident over Arizona was the most dramatic I’ve seen…what we have here is the real thing. They are here.”17
The next day, March 14th, The Air Force disavowed any knowledge of the sightings, even refusing to admit receiving phone reports of the sightings at Luke AFB. It was not until June 18th that the story broke out in the National press. In a front-page report in USA Today in an article by investigative reporter Richard Price he said:
“It could have been a hoax. It could have been an illusion. It could have been almost anything. But the events of March 13 may add up to the most contentious and confounding UFO report since the so-called UFO age was launched 50 years ago…”
According to Price the event, which was witnessed by thousands of Arizona residents, was described in remarkably consistent terms.
“Something happened in the skies over Arizona the night of March 13. No one is sure what it was, but thousands saw it, dozens videotaped it and people all over the state are still haunted by it… Witnesses generally agree on three things. First, it was enormous. The most conservative estimate describes it as three football fields long. Computer analysis of the tapes puts it as 6,000 feet, or more then a mile. Second it made no sound. Third, it moved slowly over Phoenix, cruising at 30 mph. Several times it hovered in place in the sky.18
A CNN/Time Magazine Poll taken in June 1997 found that 22% of adult Americans believe intelligent beings from other planets have been in contact with human beings. A Gallup poll September 1996 found that 72% of Americans think there is life on other planets and 71% said they think the U.S. Government knows more about UFOs then it is telling.
Finally after the story broke National on June 18 the Maryland Air National Guard announced that an operation called “Snowbird” had dropped flares in the Phoenix area on the night of March 13. The spokesperson revealed that on the night in question units from the Air National Guard, flying out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, had dropped high-intensity flares in military training exercises they were conducting in A-10s over the Barry Goldwater Gunnery Test Range fifty miles southwest of Phoenix. Flares however, do not move from northwest to a hundred miles southeast, either do they hover or form a massive stationary “V” shape. When one views the video tape and photographs from March 13th and compares that to Flares of this type it is easy to see that the two are incompatible.
In Phoenix, city council member Frances Barwood tried to get the council to demand answers from the air force. Understandably other council members refused to go along with her request, and she quickly became an object of derision, especially from the mayor of Phoenix as well as others who were nervous about being associated with any politician publicly seeking information about UFOs. With demands for some kind of official response growing among the public, then Arizona governor Fyfe Symington called a news conference near the end of August 1997 at which he promised the media he would authorize a special investigator. People seemed stunned at the news. Only once before in recent memory had an elected official demanded an investigation of a UFO report. Only this time the UFOs being investigated had been seen by thousands. But within days of the announcement, Governor Symington called a second press conference at which he announced he would reveal to the audience the culprit behind the Phoenix Lights sightings. Then a person wearing a little-green-man alien costume walked to the podium. The note-taking reporters dissolved into guffaws as the governor dismissed the entire event as mass hallucinations and hysteria.
Observers and UFO believers were now more convinced then ever that there was some kind of official cover-up going on. Witnesses were put off by the air force denials, the apparent inability of local government to come up with an explanation, and now the deliberate attempt to make fun of the event. What was going on? 19
CREDIBLE WITNESSES
General Nathan D. Twining who later became Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1957-60) reported on September 23 1947 on his investigation of UFO sightings to the commanding General of the U.S. Army Air Forces.
a. The phenomena reported is something real and not visionary or fictitious.
b. There are objects probably approximating the shape of a disc, of such appreciable size as to appear to be as large as a man-made aircraft.
c. There is a possibility that some of the incidents may be caused by natural phenomena, such as meteors.
d. The reported operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability (particularly in roll), and action which must be considered evasive when sighted or contacted by friendly aircraft and radar, lend belief to the possibility that some of the objects are controlled either manually, automatically, or remotely.20
J. Edgar Hoover in this handwritten note to Clyde Tolson in response to a government request to study UFOs wrote in July 15, 1947 “I would do it, but before agreeing to do it, we must insist upon full access to discs recovered. For instance, in the L.A. case, the Army grabbed it and would not let us have it for cursory examination.”21
Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter first director of the CIA (1947-50) recommended in a news release, February 27, 1960 “It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense.”22
President Jimmy Carter during his election campaign in May 1976” “If I become President, I’ll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public, and the scientists. I am convinced that UFOs exist because I’ve seen one…”23
Senator Barry M. Goldwater, Sr. Republican presidential candidate 1964. In a letter to researcher Shlomo Arnon, dated March 28, 1974 he stated: “The subject of UFOs is one that has interested me for some long time. About ten or twelve years ago, I made an effort to find out what was in the building at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where the information is stored that has been collected by the Air Force, and I was understandably denied the request. It is still classified above Top Secret. I have, however, heard that there is a plan under way to release some, if not all, of this material in the near future. I’m just as anxious to see this material as you are, and I hope we will not have to wait too much longer.”24
Astronaut Gordon Cooper, one of the original Mercury Astronauts and the last American to fly alone in space said in a letter to the United Nations Security Council July 14, 1978 “ I believe that these extraterrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets and are obviously a little more advanced than we are here on Earth…Most astronauts are reluctant to discuss UFOs. I feel that we need to have a top-level, coordinated program to scientifically collect and analyze data from all over the Earth concerning any type of encounter, and to determine how best to interface with these visitors in a friendly fashion. Also, I did have occasion in 1951 to have two days of observation of many flights of them, different sizes, flying in fighter formation, generally from east to west over Europe.25
Gordon Cooper had another sighting on his final orbit around the Earth May 15, 1963. Cooper told the tracking station at Muchea (near Perth Australia) that he had sighted a glowing, greenish object that was quickly approaching his capsule. The unidentified object was solid enough to be picked up by Muchea’s tracking radar. The sighting was reported by NBC, however, when Cooper landed, reporters were not allowed to question him about the UFO sighting.26
Ed Mitchell Apollo 14 astronaut appeared on Dateline NBC in April 1996 and was asked about his beliefs regarding intelligent extraterrestrial life: “I have no firsthand experience, but I have had the opportunity to meet with people from three countries who in the course of their official duties claim to have had personal firsthand encounter experiences… with extraterrestrials…” I’m convinced there’s life throughout the universe. It’s just a question of how developed…”27
Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin Apollo 11 Astronauts. Unconfirmed reports say that these two men had an incredible sighting on July 21, 1969. According to Otto Binder, a former NASA employee, the agency has a longstanding policy of blocking sensitive transmissions through secret, non-public frequencies. Binder said an unnamed Ham radio operator picked up the following transmission when Apollo 11 landed in the Sea of Tranquility. “MISSION CONTROL: What’s there?… Mission control calling APOLLO 11” APOLLO 11: “These babies are huge, sir…enormous…Oh, God, you wouldn’t believe it! I’m telling you there are other spacecraft out there …lined up on the far side of the crater edge…they’re on the moon watching us…”28 In 1979 the former chief of NASA communications, Maurice Chatelain said Armstrong had indeed reported seeing two UFO’s on the outer rim of a lunar crater. He stated when Apollo 11 made the first landing on the Sea of Tranquility, and only moments before Armstrong stepped down the ladder to set foot on the moon, two UFO’s hovered overhead. Regarding NASA’s knowledge of the incident he stated, “The encounter was common knowledge in NASA, but nobody has talked about it until now”. Chatelain has also alleged that Apollo 11’s radio transmissions were rerouted on numerous occasions to hide certain events from the public. To this day NASA officials and Neil Armstrong strongly deny that any UFOs were sighted. 29
GOVERNMENT COVER-UP?
In the 55 years since the Roswell incident there have been countless accusations of large government cover-ups and conspiracy involving UFOs and Alien contact, but is there any real evidence to suggest a government cover-up? And why wouldn’t the government simply let the public know upon such a magnificent discovery? I believe there is strong evidence at best and circumstantial evidence at worst to suggest that the U.S. government along with many other national entities has indeed conspired to cover-up, mislead, and deny any known or unknown associations with UFOs or Alien contacts throughout the world. The reasons for literally an “above top secret” cover-up are many.
In April 1961 the Brookings Institution released its report “The Brookings Report” to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for the U.S. House of Representatives Eighty-Seventh Congress. The Report was entitled “Proposed studies on the implications of peaceful space activities for human affairs” The purpose of the report was to investigate the implications and consequences upon the discovery of other life and the possibility of higher advanced intelligence. The report recommended further study on many fronts including “How might such information, under what circumstances, be presented to or withheld from the public…” “If plant life or some other subhuman intelligence were found on Mars or Venus for example, there is on the face of it no good reason to suppose these discoveries, after the original novelty had been exploited to the fullest and worn off, would result in substantial changes in perspectives or philosophy…” The report goes on to say however “If super-intelligence is discovered, the results become quite unpredictable.” “Anthropological files contain many examples of societies, sure of their place in the universe, which have disintegrated when they had to associate with previously unfamiliar societies espousing different ideas and different life ways…” Commenting on the effect on the religious community the report stated, “…For them the discovery of other life, rather then any other space product would be electrifying.” “It has been speculated that of all groups scientists and engineers might be the most devastated by the discovery of relatively superior creatures.”
The 100 page $86,000 dollar Brookings report was a very serious work presented to congress. The summary of the report stated that discovery of intelligent beings on other planets could lead to an all-out effort by earth to contact them, or it could lead to dramatic changes or even the downfall of civilization. Those are some very serious and sobering conclusions. It certainly would be enough to give the government cause to at the very least continue to study the issue and or make contingency plans for possible scenarios.
In the three brief case studies I have covered in this paper we can see possible government cover stories. Starting with Roswell where the Air Force itself reported a possible recovered UFO then quickly rescinded the story and put out the “Weather Balloon” release. We have a respected astronaut that announces on national TV that he believes NASA was involved in covering Roswell up. We have a former Brigadier General who was present during the Roswell incident alleging it was a cover story they were told to give the public and the news. We have a witness with family and friends present in Roswell in 1947 attesting to all the strange and contradicting events during those days. These are respected people saying incredible things. In the second case study dealing with the 1952 Washington D.C. sightings we have dozens of eyewitnesses who not only saw but also photographed the sightings, we have 3 different radar confirmations of the same event at the same time. We have visual confirmation from airline pilots. Then the very next day in a press conference the Air Force announces confidently that the sightings were caused by a temperature inversion and “case closed” while almost at the very same hour the CIA is secretly opening a special investigation. We come to find out some years later that the earth is not even capable of generating a temperature inversion of sufficient force to cause such a phenomena. In the final case study on the Arizona lights we find thousands of Arizonian eyewitnesses with video cameras in different areas of the state follow the lights in a predicable course. We see no national coverage of probably the single greatest UFO sighting in American history until 3 months later. First we have denial of any significant event by the Air force and subsequently the story that there was a “Flare test” Finally a prominent politician announces in a press conference that the whole event is a matter of mass hallucinations and hysteria. Why is it that the government can come to absolute conclusions about these events in a matter of hours or days? Even with hundreds or thousands of eyewitnesses equipped with photographs and videotape. How can thousands of people be simply disregarded as a matter of mass hallucinations? How can it be that instant answers come with little or no investigation or questioning while it is not uncommon for an airplane accident to take months and years for even the simplest cause to become known?
Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter first director of the CIA recommended: “It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense” 30
On September 18th 1994 at the International forum on new science in Fort Collins Colorado Dr. Brian O’Leary former scientist-astronaut had this to say about UFOs and Government cover-up: “For nearly 50 years, the secrecy apparatus within the United States government has kept from the public UFO and alien contact information… We have contact with alien cultures… The suppression of UFO and other extraterrestrial intelligence information for at least 47 years is probably being orchestrated by an elite band of men in the CIA, NSA, DIA, and their like. This small group appears able to keep these already-hard-to-believe secrets very well…”31
Apollo 14 astronaut Ed Mitchell had this to say to a newspaper reporter in 1996: “I am convinced there is a small body of valid information and that there is a body of information, ten times as big, that is total disinformation put out by the source to confuse the whole issue… The information is now held primarily by a body of semi- or quasi-private organizations that have kind of spun off from the military intelligence organizations of the past…”32
General Carlos Castro Cavero, General in the Spanish Air Force, in a 1976 interview with journalist J.J. Benitez he acknowledged that UFOs were taken quite seriously by the Spanish military. “Everything is in a process of investigation both in the United States and in Spain, as well as in the rest of the world… Look, as a General, as a military man, I have the same position as the one officially held by the Ministry. Now, from a personal position, as Carlos Castro Cavero, I believe that UFOs are spaceships or extraterrestrial craft… The nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon. There is an international exchange of data. Maybe when this group of nations acquire more precise and definite information, it will be possible to release the news to the world.”
Dr. Paul Santorini, Greek physicist and engineer credited with developing the proximity fuse for the Hiroshima atomic bomb. In 1947 he investigated a series of UFO reports over Greece that were initially thought to be Soviet missiles. “We soon established that they were not missiles. But, before we could do any more, the Army, after conferring with foreign officials, ordered the investigation stopped. Foreign scientists flew to Greece for secret talks with me… A world blanket of secrecy surrounded the UFO question because the authorities were unwilling to admit the existence of a force against which we had no possibility of defense.”
Dr. Jacques Vallee, Astrophysicist, computer scientist, and world-renowned researcher and author on UFOs reveals from his diaries how the government has deliberately misled the scientific world, the media, and the public regarding their information on UFOs and paranormal research: “It is unusual for scientists to keep diaries and even more unusual for them to make them public…I have followed this rule of silence for the last thirty years, but I have finally decided that I had no right to keep them private anymore…They provide a primary source about a crucial fact in the recent historical record: the appearance of new classes of phenomena that highlighted the reality of the paranormal. These phenomena were deliberately denied or distorted by those in authority within the government and the military. Science never had fair and complete access to the most important files.
The thirteen years covered here, from 1957 to1969 saw some of the most exciting events in technological history… Behind the grand parade of the visible breakthroughs in science, however, more private mysteries were also taking place… all over the world people had begun to observe what they described as controlled devices in the sky. They were shaped like saucers or spheres. They seemed to violate every known principle in our physics.
Governments took notice, organizing task forces, encouraging secret briefings and study groups, funding classified research and all the time denying before the public that any of the phenomena might be real… The major revelation of these diaries may be the demonstration of how the scientific community was misled by the government, how the best data were kept hidden, and how the public record was shamelessly manipulated.” 33
Victor Marchetti, former CIA official: We have indeed, been contacted—perhaps even visited—by extraterrestrial beings, and the U.S. government, in collusion with the other national powers of the earth, is determined to keep this information from the general public.
The purpose of the international conspiracy is to maintain a workable stability among the nations of the world and for them, in turn, to retain institutional control over their respective populations. Thus, for these governments to admit that there are beings from outer space…with mentalities and technological capabilities obviously far superior to ours could, once fully perceived by the average person, erode the foundations of the earth’s traditional power structure. Political and legal systems, religions, economic and social institutions could all soon become meaningless in the mind of the public. The national oligarchic establishments, even civilization as we now know it, could collapse into anarchy.
Such extreme conclusions are not necessarily valid, but they probably accurately reflect the fears of the “ruling classes” of the major nations, whose leaders (particularly those in the intelligence business) have always advocated excessive governmental secrecy as being necessary to preserve “national security” 34
I’ve listed here only a few evidences out of literally hundreds that suggest some form of cover-up has been engaged in by the U.S. government and literally world wide in some form or another. The statements I have included in this section are not from wild-eyed conspiracy theorists, they are from serious professionals who are in a position to know. We have Scientists, Astronauts, Doctors, Politicians and literally thousands of regular ordinary people who sometimes come across the extraordinary. Anyone who would embark on a serious study of the vast amount of data in this field I believe would come to the same conclusion. Something is going on which is being deliberately held from the general public. It may be that the governments of the world know something is going on but not what and therefore has chosen to cover up the existence of these phenomena until more solid answers are available. Just what is being withheld and the reasons for withholding are questions that I will attempt to answer in later sections of this paper.
CROP CIRCLES
The study of crop circles is a difficult one. The reason is because crop circles are highly publicized, very popular among “New age spiritists”, and highly faked. There are a number of organized groups that boast about “their” formations even signing them with their own unique marks. One group known as the Circle Makers from England have regular meetings and even a website where they post their best works. They have detailed and complicated diagrams and blue prints from past and future circles. They also provide a detailed “how to” list for circle maker wannabe’s. Mixed in with all the fakes is what crop circle experts call “Genuine circle phenomena” One leading crop circle investigator Colin Andrews founder of “Circles Phenomenon Research” announced in August 2000 a very unpopular conclusion from his studies. “My findings at this time are that ample evidence exists that an estimated 80% of crop circles are man-made. On the other hand, 20% revealed no evidence of human involvement”… “ It should be emphasized that NO EVIDENCE of human involvement could be found in 20% of the formations.”35
Crop circle apologists are quick to point out that the circles could not be man-made because it is simply impossible for man to make such elaborate designs so quickly. This belief seems to be based more on the “wish” that the phenomena is true rather then basing it on the evidence, however, having said this I do believe in Colin Andrews 20% hypothesis. I have been a hard one to win over in this crop circle phenomenon. I was not impressed with the fakes “I figured all crop circles were made by the two fellows” ( Dave Chorley and Doug Bowers) from the pub in England that everyone has heard admitted making the circles. Most of us can remember the TV magazine shows that had them showing how they took the plywood and pressed down the grass. There have been hundreds of crop circles over the years but the big boom came after 1989 when the book Circular Evidence was published. The time before 1989 is what crop circle people call the “Pre-contaminated” period. Since that time the number of crop circles has really boomed for obvious reasons.
The earliest record of crop circle activity goes all the way back to 1678 in Hertfordshire, England. It is a drawing called “The mowing devil” and shows a farmer cursing the devil for mowing a circle in his Oat field. More then 70 countries world wide have reported crop circles. These circles have appeared in nearly every kind of crop such as wheat, corn, oats, rape seed, grass, weeds, even flowers, snow and ice. China has an extensive crop circle study program in which they claim the first crop circles as far back as 3,000 years. 36
There have been, however, two quite remarkable formations in 2001 and one in 2002 that I think are due a mention here. These formations notwithstanding, could indeed be frauds but I think they rise to a level so much in advance of the others they require a closer look. The Milk Hill formation discovered on August 12th, 2001 in Wiltshire England is so massive it has been described as the single greatest crop circle ever discovered. It consists of 409 circles formed in a Julia set design which measures 900 feet in diameter covering nearly 700,000 square feet.
This formation is so spectacular in its design and size it is hard to believe it was man made over one rainy August night. This crop design is the greatest ever in its scope. The second impressive crop formation example will need a little setting up.
The largest radio telescope in the world is the Arecibo observatory in Puerto Rico. This dish is almost exclusively used for listening but in November of 1974 the dish was used to send a 500,000 watt message from Earth to space in the hope other intelligent beings would receive our friendly message. Since we can only send to a very small spectrum of space it was decided to aim the beam at cluster M13 in Hercules containing approximately 300,000 stars. The message was a very basic diagram about earth. Our numbering system, the atoms of life, the basic structure of our DNA, our size and population, our solar system, and the antenna we used to send the message. The message was less then 3 minutes long and was sent at the rate of 10 bits per second on 2388 MHZ. The message was sent in binary form. Binary form is the way computers communicate. It uses only one’s (1) and zero’s (0) to communicate. For example the number one in binary looks like this “0000 0001” number five looks like “0000 0101”, number eighty three looks like “1000 0101” The atomic number for Nitrogen is “0000 0111” and for carbon is it is “0000 0110”. So any information can be transmitted in this manner using the binary method. The binary code sent would have looked similar to this:

This is an example of 115 characters of binary text. The Arecibo message had 1,679 characters. Mathematicians know that if you have a message in binary code such as the 1,679 in the Arecibo code, you need to find a way to decode the information. This is done by finding the prime numbers. In this case the prime numbers for 1,679 are 73 and 23. So you would divide the numbers into 73 lines of 23 characters each or 23 lines of 73 characters each. Then you need simply to find out which way makes sense and you have your message. One way will give you gibberish and the other a message. Of course understand that you also need a mathematician! Hopefully Aliens have mathematicians too! Now if you were to take this binary code and put it down on paper in the form of a drawing the number ones would become blocks and the zeros would be spaces remembering of course your prime numbers of 23 characters in 73 rows and the Arecibo message would look exactly like this next example if it were pushed down in the wheat.

Now that you have all the necessary background data the next crop formation appeared on August 17th, 2001 near the Chilbolton observatory, England just 5 days after the gigantic milk hill formation. This crop formation looks almost exactly as this diagram above only it is pushed down in the wheat!

What we have here is apparently “The answer” to the 1974 Arecibo radio message in exactly the same binary form and format we used. This alleged Alien reply gave us the same info about them as we sent about us in the same manner design and form as our original message in 1974. It shows their numbering system, their atoms of life, their basic structure of DNA, their physical size and population, their solar system and antenna with which they received our message. Who? it could be asked, would take the time to stamp out a reply to our message of 1974 in a wheat field in England? This crop formation is quite amazing, certainly a master piece However, the perpetrators would have to know what was sent in the Arecibo message of 1974, and have a working knowledge of binary code. The obvious questions about this formation are “If the aliens received our message via radio signals why then did they not simply return a message via radio signals? Why take the trouble to stamp the answer in a farmers wheat? Also our message as stated earlier was sent to star cluster M-13 in 1974. The closest star in M-13 cluster is so far away that even at the speed of light our message would not reach them for 22,800 years. How is it then that our message was not only received but returned in a simple matter or twenty something years?
Pressing alien DNA in binary code into the grass in one night was not enough for these alien and or human perpetrators. In addition to the Arecibo answer there was also a digital picture of an apparent alien face. A remarkable piece of artwork to be sure.
Although most crop circle phenomena can be traced to very terrestrial authorship there are some aspects of some of the phenomena in this field which are very mysterious and unexplainable at this time, for example magnetic anomalous phenomena such as spinning compass needles (as witnessed by Colin Andrews himself) unusual failures of electronic equipment, and radio frequency interference. A German based study in the 1990’s showed a descriptive magnetic signature in a hand full of simple circles and basic geometric patterns. This signature consists of an increased magnetic reading that replicates the actual design of the crop pattern being measured, but occurs out of sync with the design by 3-5 degrees in a clockwise direction. 37 Studies at the HSC laboratory at Stroud in Gloucestershire England have shown that the crystalline structure of the plant is affected and changed within a crop circle, however in time these changes revert to normal. Dr. W.C. Levengood, a biophysicist and plant expert in Michigan explains cells at the nodal point, the point at which the plants bend, about a half to one inch above ground level have fractured and scarred. This scarring or burnt part of the plant known as blown nodes by the crop circle community cannot occur by the trampling of feet, or whirlwinds, or the other processes that we hear about. Dr. Levengood is not able to state precisely what causes this to happen, but suggests it may be due to a rapid increase in temperature within the plant. This fracturing and scarring of the cell structure also supports the findings at the lab in Gloucestershire, England. 38
Probably my personal favorite at this time was a formation that appeared in August 2002 in Whiltshire England. A 3-D alien face pushed into the grass along with a CD Rom in Binary form. The Decoded CD has only a few lines of simple text, which states: “Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts and their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. (Damaged word) There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND)” Also the letters EELIL?E are in the message. It is really unknown what the message is actually supposed to convey. I found a hilarious picture from an article by Crop circle researcher Paul Vigay which as he puts it is “A vague resemblance” to the crop circle alien.

This little device known as an “LED marker” was found a short distance from the formation. Apparently we are to believe alien creatures, especially the kind that make exotic designs in the wheat need such tools to aid them in the making of their designs in the dark! Obviously this was a careless mistake by an otherwise flawless crop formation by very human engineers. As with all such phenomena crop circle researchers face the difficult task of separating the fakes from the real unknown. Although the fakes do abound it is quite clear that there is a very spiritual and mystical aspect to the crop circle phenomena. There is more here then meets the eye, this type of phenomena definitely fits into the realm of the spiritual unknown and somehow can be tied to the other types of phenomena discussed in this work. Perhaps some more time and research will add more to this interesting puzzle.
ABDUCTIONS
Usually the very notion of “Alien Abduction” is so far from reality in the average persons mind that it will bring out an abundance of scoffs and laughter. I can’t really blame this snap reaction because I too was once included among the scoffers. Most media reports on these phenomena are tongue in cheek, also reports of abductions are impossible to confirm, widely scattered and assumed to come from the fringe of society. There are basically two groups, the intellectuals, and the abductees, everyone else basically fits into the don’t know don’t care category. Intellectuals regard this as total nonsense due mostly to the lack of any concrete scientific laboratory evidence. Abductees not only swear it is true they know it is true. This very fact puts the abductee in a very difficult situation of ridicule and politically correct peer pressure even from the UFO community. I believe the intellectuals and the abductees are both right and will here attempt to state my case.
There are two basic types of abductions reported. One kind happens during conscious hours and the other in a state of altered consciousness such as sleep. A typical conscious abduction will happen in a vehicle usually late at night. The subject usually will witness a UFO or other unexplainable phenomena during that day or evening. Sometimes the subject will see a UFO off in the distance out the car window at a certain time such as we’ll say 8:20 P.M. when they look back at the clock it is 10:30 P.M. This is known as a “Missing time” event. It is common in both abduction scenarios and usually the subject has no knowledge of anything happening during that missing time. Often times the subject will recollect the events in tiny bits and pieces during the next weeks and months. The most publicized attempts to gather the information from these missing time events is through hypnosis. Most information gathered on the subject however, has come from other means then hypnosis since most abductees cannot afford or are not willing to submit to hypnosis treatments.
By far most abductions happen in an altered state of consciousness. Typically an abduction of this type will happen late at night after the subject has gone to sleep. Abductees often report that they can “feel” something enter their room just before falling asleep and even though they try not to fall asleep they do anyway. Others say it happens exclusively between 2:00 and 3:00 A.M. Abductees report that after falling asleep they are awakened but not physically it is spiritually. In other words their bodies are asleep but their spirits are awake. They report being taken from the home to either an underground complex or taken aboard a spacecraft. They report numerous different events at this time but most often they report being laid on a table in a room with lights similar to an operating room. They are unable to move, totally paralyzed while certain alien beings examine and sometimes operate. The women report examinations mainly of the reproductive organs, often times eggs are taken from them, sometimes they are inseminated. They report being implanted with various small devices. Many women claim pregnancy only to be re-abducted 3 months later to have the fetus removed. Marks are often seen the next day, even surgery scars. Health issues are a frequent complaint. The most common medical anomalies are in the area or gynecological and sexual organs, severe back pain, miscellaneous allergies, skin rashes, autoimmune disorders, migraines and endocrine abnormalities.39 Men who report abduction claim the same events as the women except that their sperm is taken. Most times these events come back to the abductee in bits and pieces over the next weeks and months.
There have been many different types of aliens reported but the two most common are the small Grays called (Zeta Reticuli for their home star system) and the Reptilian (sometimes called Dracos.) The small Gray is the friendly little alien we all know from TV and movies. He is the little 3½ foot tall fellow with the big black eyes. The Reptilian is a big creature around 6 to 7 feet tall complete with tail, claw like hands and feet and yellow snake slit eyes. Abductees report seeing both types during abductions with the Grays taking the task of the operations and examinations and the Reptilians take on the more direct abusive tasks. Abductee women claim to be raped by the Reptilians both in the ships and in the underground complexes. They also report rape in their own beds at night by these same creatures and other terrible things I cannot mention here. According to abductees the friendly little Grays are not so friendly. Performing all sorts of medical tasks, which often times cause pain. They do so in a very unemotional robotic way, as one abductee I interviewed and who I will call Jane told me “I was treated in such a way that leads me to believe they feel and look at me like humans look at sheep, you know, what can I get from this creature.”40
The UFO community is of the general opinion that UFO’s are extraterrestrial vehicles, which have traveled here from distant planets to visit earth and to bestow upon us in a future time great wisdoms, which will help our planet and our people in ways unimaginable. This is why it comes as such a shock to the UFO community that women and men are being abducted against their own will abused and used by creatures that appear in every way as evil. It is easier to dismiss these accounts then to have that friendly UFO scenario shattered.
What kind of numbers are we talking about here of people that claim abduction? Is this a phenomenon that is even taken seriously by any of our scientists and researchers? This subject is serious enough that in June 1992 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) held a week long “Abduction Study Conference” In 1992 a poll was taken known as “The Roper Poll” which polled 5,947 adult Americans on the subject of abductions. The Roper sample is so large that the results of the survey contain a margin of error of only + or – 1.4%. The poll excluded any one under the age 18, all residents of Alaska and Hawaii, and all those residing in group facilities such as dormitories, and hospitals. The actual number of people represented by the Roper survey after these demographic excursions is about 185 million. Five questions were asked in the survey, 1: Have you ever seen a UFO? 2: Have you ever wakened up paralyzed with a sense of a strange person or presence or something else in the room? 3: Have you ever experienced a period of an hour or more in which you did not know where or why you had been? 4: Have you ever personally flown or floated though the air without knowing why or how? 5: Have you ever discovered puzzling scars on your body but did not know how or when they appeared?
Taken one by one a large number of yes answers may indicate nothing more then the fact that a huge number of Americans willingly report highly anomalous personal experiences. But when a respondent answers “yes” to four or five of these key indicator questions, there is a strong possibility that individual is a UFO abductee. The total number of respondents who answered “yes” to four or five of the questions was 119, or 2% of the 5,947. Two percent of 185 million represents 3 million 7 hundred thousand of the population of he USA.41 That is 3,700,000 Americans according to the survey that could have had some kind of abduction experience. Due to the ridicule and usual denial from the average American it is logical to suspect many abductees will plainly keep their mouths shut! I suspect this number to actually be much larger. A report on unusual experiences associated with UFO abductions, had this to say in summary. “From an emotional perspective we have found that everyone—scientist, layman, abductee and UFO researcher alike “wants” to deny the reality of such bizarre and upsetting encounters. Denial offers comfort and the reassurance to anyone troubled by the possibility that the UFO phenomena, as represented by the thousands of UFO sightings, the photographs, radar reports and abductions accounts might actually represent a non-human intelligence and technology. In this context it is only natural to prefer easy, unreasoned denial to the effort of objective investigation.”42
In my interview with abductee Jane she told me that in addition to being abducted many other strange phenomenon has happened to her as well. “I didn’t come to terms with my experiences until my daughter shoved them in my face in 1999. I was in denial so bad I was nuts. I called my daughter and mother crazy for years, refusing to believe what I was seeing with my own eyes. I hurt them both badly. Books would literally be flying around the room like a bad horror flick and I would blame it on the wind, magnetic energy, power poles, cats, dogs and other family members.” Jane continues “ I had a friend who got me into tarot cards. Poltergeist activity intensified so much when I used them I threw them in the trash one day. The same friend also brought a ouija board, which of course stirred up poltergeists. We have always had heavy poltergeist activity, sometimes very intense.”43 In one Internet support group for abductees a certain female abductee who I will call Jennifer had this to say, “I have a very large scar in a strange place. It is about ¼ to ½” wide white with red edges, and it is in an embarrassing place. I did not have this scar just a couple of years ago, nor have I had an accident, injury or infection that could have caused it. I have had two doctors look at it and they both said the exact same thing. They asked me what kind of surgery I had on this area and they also commented on what a good job the surgeon did closing the wound because there are no stitch or staple marks! On all of my other surgical scars you can easily see these marks. I don’t know about anyone else but this is very spooky to me!”44 In other correspondence with Jane she mentions that she has a missing ovary that once was there and that for many years she blamed Air Force doctors but not anymore.
One bit of evidence that nearly all abductee’s report are strange scars in various places on their bodies. Of these scars the most common according to Dr. Roger Leir podiatric physician and surgeon are small scoop like marks which are nearly a dead giveaway for abduction.109 Here is an example from an investigation I had with possible abducteee Gary.

This scoop mark is located on Gary’s left shin. Above this on his left knee are three straight scars in a line. All of which appeared early one morning freshly scabbed over.
Another female abductee who I will call Amy had these comments “I had a nightmare about a Gray’s alien hand stabbing me with a huge hypodermic needle in the belly button. When I awoke, I had a sore red spot that took over a week to heal. Coincidentally, I didn’t have any period for about 3 months, and showed other signs of pregnancy. But being only 16 and a virgin at the time, I refused to think it could be a real pregnancy, despite my misgivings. At the end of three months I had a miscarriage, I was overcome with pain and went to the bathroom, at that point or shortly thereafter the bathroom door opened and I, on the floor, saw these strange small feet in odd footwear. At that point, I seemed to know it was “Them,” but I hoped they’d help, and I passed out. I got pregnant again at ages 18 and 19, both for three months each, both while still a virgin, and both disappearing under weird circumstances. I was in complete denial over it at that point. It was too horrifying”45 (I have edited certain aspects to this account due to the graphic nature of the comments)
This is the definition of “Missing Pregnancy” according to Alien Abduction Central, a web site dedicated in counseling and supporting abductees.“During a woman’s reproductive life, she may experience signs of pregnancy but not produce an infant. There are several medical conditions that can lead to this state, including disorders of the pituitary gland. However, increasing numbers of women are claiming that they are experiencing missing pregnancies in connection with interaction with the Visitors. Prior to the pregnancy there is an interface, with another one several weeks or months later, when the woman experiences the loss of the pregnancy between these two interfaces. The woman may feel that she is pregnant and even have positive pregnancy tests. The woman does not abort a fetus it just disappears. Some women have gone full term only to find that their uterus contains a placenta but no fetus. Some abductees report being shown hybrid infants and children, during subsequent interfaces, and being told that these children are theirs.”46
It is now time to ask the question if these things are true then who are they and what are they up to? To answer that question I think we have to ask another one. Where are these aliens from? It is supposed by many that these aliens are from other planets, the proverbial extra-terrestrial. That they have flesh and blood and are subject to the same laws of physics as are we, that they have traveled many millions of miles to earth in space ships. It is assumed since they traveled all the way here that these aliens and these ships are highly advanced in technology and observing us. The problem is though that these alien ships do not conform to the laws of physics as is pointed out often by skeptics. There are aspects that are very real, such as radar detections, heat detections, radiation detections. We also have the thousands of sightings every year. Clearly something is there but at the same time there is nothing.
We have no landed ships, we have no captured ships so far as we know, we have no clear landing areas, and we have no definitive photographs. These ships have been seen making 90 degree turns at thousands of miles per hour; clearly this would kill any flesh and blood occupants with the hundreds of G-forces this would cause. Many times there has been a crowd that will witness a UFO, some in the crowd will see it and some will not. Other times two people will be in a car, one will see it the other will not. Many times witnesses tell how the craft appeared in mid air flew around and then disappeared, sort of dissolved away. I believe this is because these ships are real, however not in a 3-D sense that we live in. I believe it is a spiritual phenomena, the ships are operated by creatures that are far in advance of us, creatures that are much older then us, creatures that live and exist right here on earth with us, creatures that are spiritual.
The Bible tells us that there is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It tells us about the Angels, it tells us about the fallen Angels, It tells us about Satan, It tells us about Mankind. It tells us about how God will deal with mankind and how God will deal with everything else. It tells mankind what he will have to deal “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.47 I believe the Bible is clear that what we have to deal with on this Earth is Mankind, God and his Angels, Satan and the fallen Angels along with demons. That is the whole list. 1: God, 2: Angels, 3: Satan, 4: Fallen Angels/Demons, 5: Mankind. So any phenomena will be the direct result or indirect cause of one of the five types of beings on the list. Quite simply put there is no place for aliens, that means if we have alien phenomena and real UFO activity as I believe we do, then it has to come from one of these 5 sources.
I believe the UFO phenomena is a spiritual phenomena controlled by spiritual creatures. Almost all evidence of UFO’s shows signs of a spiritual quality. This is why we have thousands of sightings and eyewitness accounts but no proof. It is because what we are dealing with here is not subject to our real 3-D world. Spirits are not subject to the physical laws of mankind. Spirits are also hundreds or thousands of years older then us or more. The intelligence they have is so far in advance of ours it cannot be imagined. Spirits know everything man has ever known and ever will know plus whatever knowledge they have aside from that. It is my contention that UFO’s are real, individuals have lots of proof but we have no proof. We have crop circles but no proof of where or how they come. We have aliens and there are individuals that have proof but we have no proof. We have abductions and there are individuals with proof but at the same time we have no proof. I liken it to this analogy. There are Christians such as myself that believe in God. I know he is real because he proves it to me practically everyday. I believe he is as real as anything or anyone I have ever seen BUT if I should go across the street over to the guy that does not believe in God how do I prove it to him? It is impossible to do! The reason is that I don’t have any proof. I have individual proofs that God has given me but they are impossible to pass on to anyone else as proof. That’s the way the Lord has designed it. We are to believe in him because of faith not because it has been proven to us. This is a great spiritual phenomenon. I believe since these things are spiritual that they will appear to us in the very same way. Individuals can have proof but it will never be open knowledge because it is designed that way and the spirits that control these things are so far in advance of us that it’s child’s play to them. It can be summed up by Barbara Bartholic, a hypnotherapist and abductions researcher for over 25 years. “It is like one big human Nintendo game.”
What we know is whatever this phenomenon is we are dealing with here; it is part of God’s plan. We also know that all the characteristics of this alien / UFO phenomena are spiritual, and finally we know that this spiritual phenomena comes from one of the five sources mentioned earlier. Now we need a plan! Since we know it is a spiritual phenomenon what does the Lord tell us in his word about spirits? “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”48
Let’s examine the evidence of what abductees, researchers and contactees have to say about the messages that are given to them from aliens. According to the late abduction researcher Dr. Karla Turner: “We are not alone in the Universe. We are told this earth has been visited many times in the past and presently by different types of extra-terrestrials. These ET’s have been involved with our creation, evolution, religions, myths, beliefs, ect.”49
Rael, according to Dr. Turner is supposedly the chosen prophet and messiah for the Raelian movement, (Popularized recently due to an announcement that this group had successfully cloned a human.) reports a group of aliens from the Pleiadian star system told of how “Mankind was created by a group of ET’s called the Elohim using advanced genetic engineering in laboratories… The Pleiadian ancestors were some of the original planners of Earth who seeded this and other worlds” Dr. Turner goes on to state “The space beings are here to teach, to help awaken the human spirit, to help humankind rise to higher levels of vibration so that the people of Earth may be ready to enter new dimensions.”50 Author and contactee researcher Dr. J. Vallee who wrote Messengers of Deception notes that there are authoritarian overtones to some of the messages given to contactees such as “democracy is obsolete, elections should be done away with, racist ideologies are encouraged, some humans have more alien DNA then others…there are no moral absolutes, reincarnation is taught, monistic beliefs such as a vague “kinship with the Cosmos and it’s oneness with the Universe or the Universe as a supreme being” are common, We are being told that “we stand on the precipice of a quantum leap forward on both a biological and spiritual level” Man is or is becoming God ect.”51
Obviously the messages given by these spirits are not acknowledging Jesus Christ has come in the flesh but rather they are teaching things contrary to God’s word. “The Spirit clearly says that in latter times some will follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”52
Author, researcher and abductee Whitley Strieber had this to say about our alien visitors. “ I’ve come away from this experience convinced of one thing: if there aren’t demons out there, there might as well be, because these guys are indistinguishable from demons. Indistinguishable.”53
Commenting on the spirit of the Grays, an abductee who I will call Juanita had this to say. “I find it just amazing that anyone can rationalize for even a moment that the Grays meant to do anything other then completely control us.”54
Abduction investigator Eve Frances Lorgen M.A. “Some have reported increases in reptilian activity with methamphetamine or “Crack cocaine” abuse.”55
Dr. Karla Turner who worked with over 400 abduction cases and wrote the book “Into the fringe” “If abduction accounts can be believed and there is confirmation of many of these facts with other researchers, the abduction phenomena includes some of the following details”.
*Aliens can alter our perceptions of our surroundings.
*Aliens can control what we think we see. They can appear to us in any number of guises and shapes.
*Aliens can be present with us in an invisible state and can make themselves only partially visible.
*Female abductees often suffer serious gynecological problems after alien encounters, and sometimes these problems lead to cysts, tumors, cancer of the breast and uterus, and to hysterectomies.
*A surprising number of abductees suffer from serious illnesses they didn’t have before their encounters.
*Abductees often encounter more than one sort of alien during an experience, not just the Grays. Every possible combination of Gray, Reptoid, Insectoid, Blond and widow’s peak have been seen during single abductions, aboard the same craft or in the same facility.
*Abductees report being scoffed at, jeered at, and threatened by their alien captors. Painful genital and anal probes are performed. Unknown fluids are injected into some abductees.
*Aliens perform extremely painful experiments or procedures on abductees, saying that these acts are necessary but give no explanation why…Painful genital and anal probes are performed, on children as well as adults.
*Aliens make predictions of an imminent period of global chaos and destruction. They say that a certain number of humans will be “rescued” from the planet in order to continue the species.
Dr. Turner sums up her thoughts on the state of the abducting aliens. “Before we allow ourselves to believe in the benevolence of the alien interaction, we should ask, do enlightened beings need to use the cover of night to perform good deeds? Do they need to paralyze us and render us helpless to resist? Do angels need to steal our fetuses? Do they need to manipulate or children’s genitals and probe our rectums? Are fear, pain, and deception consistent with high spiritual motives?”56
An abductee I interviewed that I will call Jean had this to say about alien plans and abduction. “My friends and I have heard rumors including some from our membership that abductees were being conditioned and trained to do various tasks, presumably for after the Grays/hybrids made some sort of full contact with humanity…it sometimes seems as if every abductee got a customized answer as to how, when, and how bad it would be here when the Grays did arrive. Or maybe it was all just a giant smokescreen. But a theme of imminent arrival seems to run through abductee recall, and tasks apparently trained into abductees, waiting for the big day, everything from calming frightened fellow humans to hunting them down.”57
In edition to these evidences of the real spirit behind these phenomenon there also seems to be a more direct satanic connection as well. If you were to do a study on Satanism/demonism you will discover a number of consistent traits that correlate with alien activity.
* Interaction with Spirits, the same as with aliens.
* Some in the same room see spirits while others do not, as with aliens.
* Spirits in Satanism and demonism appear and disappear before your eyes. Fading in and out, the same as aliens.
*Apocalyptic teachings of demonic spirits. This is the same and in some cases identical teachings as the aliens.
* Spirits in Satanism can walk straight through walls or float through ceilings the very same as aliens.
* Generational Satanism. Where satanic activity is passed down through the same family generation after generation. In a large number of cases alien contact and the abduction phenomena have been passed down through family’s from generation to generation. Often times generational satanic activity turns into generational alien activity.
In my interview with Whitley Strieber, author, researcher and abductee he had this to say about aliens. “I think UFO’s are deeply connected to the human psyche, and represent a connection between the mind and the universe that we do not yet understand. An unremarked aspect of this involves the frequent connection that close encounter witnesses find between their own dead and alien contact. Dead friends and relatives often appear with the ‘aliens.’ This phenomenon is ignored by the UFO community because it opposes their cherished belief that the phenomenon represents visitors from other planets.”58
This issue of the dead coming to visit has been a demonic trick since the earliest of times. The most publicized way has been through the séance. Although wrought with fraud and deceit, in its purest and secret rites in Satanism this has long been a way of talking to and finding out information from dead relatives and friends. But it is a trick brought on by the demonic forces by those who foolishly believe in things literally taught by demons. What we have here now is the new alien version of this deception.
In my interview with Peter Davenport, director of the National UFO Reporting center he gave me this answer to the possibility that aliens are demonic. “I, Too, frequently wonder about the relationship between my field of interest…UFO’s…and Christianity. Many of my friends assure me that I am dealing with demons, and I often wonder whether that is the case. If that is, in fact, what I am dealing with it concerns me profoundly…If aliens are what we call demons, I feel an urgency to let my fellow citizens know that fact. My neighbors, and all people who are concerned about the welfare of their lives and souls, will benefit from that knowledge in their pursuit of a moral life.”59
I would like to point out that in nearly all the abduction cases I have researched and in the cases I have read about and studied that nearly all abductees have one thing in common. They have had or their families have had a connection with the occult. Either a past connection or a current connection, which would include Satanism, Demonism, witchcraft or any type of cultic practice such as divination with tarot cards, tea leaves, astrology, numerology, Idol worship. Satanic folk religions such as Voodoo, Santeria, black magic etc. I find it an interesting fact and a direct hit as to where this phenomena originates in that these “aliens” will abduct only people that are involved in or connected to in some way past or present satanic practices. For some reason “aliens” will not touch a believer. A Christian who is indwelt with the Holy Spirit, almost as if this category of person is off limits! If aliens were independent life forms from another planet and they were carrying on with these abductions for whatever purpose then the choices for abductees would be indiscriminate. They would abduct the Christian and the non-Christian alike. It is also interesting to note that nearly all abductees seem to have a closer tie to Satanic dealings then everyone else. What I mean to say is you have Christians and non-Christians but if you take the non-Christians you have two more categories, the unbeliever and those other unbelievers more closely tied to satanic dealings. It is from this latter group that most of the abductions come. Indeed Christians are off limits thanks to the protection of the Holy Spirit.
I believe it has been reasonably established that the source of the alien contact abduction phenomena come from spirits. Evil spirits that are aligned with Satan to do his will and bring about circumstances according to his own plan for Earth, which will be investigated in later chapters of this paper. This chapter started out with the statement that the intellectuals and the abductee’s beliefs were both right and both wrong. The intellectual argument being that there is not concrete proof and therefore no such thing as abductions. They are right that there is no concrete evidence for these phenomena and they are wrong that it is not happening. The abductee’s argument that it is true that aliens are abducting them is right that they are being abducted but wrong that it is aliens that are abducting them. Both sides are missing the point that what we have here in not happening in a literal 3-D Earth space but it is a spiritual phenomena perpetrated by spiritual beings which are greatly advanced to ourselves. Both arguments are circular without the two sides understanding the greater spiritual significance.
THE LAND OF THE GIANTS
There are many sacred books and writings that have claimed to be the true teachings of God. They range from less then 200 years old to many thousands. We have such works as the Koran, the prophesy of Nastradamus, or the book of Mormon to name a few but only the Bible you will discover has proof that it was written outside of our time domain. No other book or sacred writing can claim and then prove that it was designed by God for the teaching of man. The Lord put in proofs that it was written outside of time by using a system that is called prophecy. Prophesy is a fancy term for predicting future events hundreds or even thousands of years in advance. In Old Testament times God used prophets to tell the people of his will and decrees. A prophet was a very powerful and highly respected person. A prophet would come into a town or city and proclaim, “Thus sayeth the Lord” and literally everyone would stop in their tracks to listen to what God had to say through the prophet. Therefore it was very desirous to be a prophet on account of the power you could have, you can see that someone bent on deceiving would simply have to call out “Thus sayeth the Lord” and you would have instant prophet. The Lord knew that he couldn’t have prophets without a city full of frauds so he instituted a fail-safe system. “But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death.” You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him. There were no 20% prophet correct hits or 50% correct hits not even a 99% correct prophet. They were 100% all the time, every time because when a real prophet spoke it, it came to pass.
I love the fact that we can believe in Bible prophesy with the same seriousness and exact accuracy. If even one Bible prophecy does not come to pass then you can throw the whole book out the window. The Bible has hundreds of prophesy within its pages and of all the possible fulfilled prophesy to date every single one has come to pass with supernatural precision. Nothing less should be expected from God himself and I am filled with awe whenever I take time to consider this fact. A fact by the way that is readily available to anyone who would take up the study of God’s word. It is with great anticipation then when this word of God has something to say about UFO’s and aliens.
The Bible mentions two times in our past and one future time when mankind had and will come face to face with creatures called Nephilim. Nephilim is a Hebrew word meaning fallen ones or giants. These Nephilim are very important because I believe it can be reasonably shown the Nephilim are related to Neanderthal that in turn may also be related to a very strange and spiritual genetic engineering program.
Genesis chapter six is the place in the Bible that tells us about the flood of Noah. It is this chapter that is largely misunderstood and easily passed over which gives us the play by play of what happened at and during Noah’s flood. The mainstream belief of Noah’s flood is that God saw that mankind was evil and corrupt continually sinning all the time and his heart became sad that he had put mankind on the earth and so decided to send the deluge to wipe them all out and start over again excepting Noah and his sons and their wives. However upon closer examination of Genesis six you will discover that there is much, much more to the story then what we have been usually taught.
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, my Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only on evil continually.” 66
In these verses of the Bible we see at least three reasons for the flood right out of the box, the first two I will mention briefly, the third one will need some detail. First Mankind’s wickedness was great. Secondly the age of mankind would be reduced from the old ages of the patriarchs (living as long as 969 years for Methuselah) down to 120 years. The third reason is the biggest and most important reason for the flood. This part of the Bible is just starting to set up a very strange and interesting situation between the daughters of men and the sons of God. The daughters of men is just that, the daughters of mankind but the sons of God is a term used to describe something other then humankind, literally the sons of God. This Hebrew term “Sons of God” is translated B’nai Ha Elohim and is consistently used in the Old Testament for Angels.67 Could this possibly be telling us that Angels came down and took for themselves …wives of all which they chose? It goes on to say that the resulting offspring from these unions …became mighty men which were old, men of renown. Literally giants translated in the Hebrew from the word Nephilim. …There were giants “Nephilim” in the earth in those days; and also after that. These strange unnatural offspring are the legends in every major culture on earth. Greek mythology for example is full of legends where intercourse between the gods and earth women resulted in half-god half-man giants such as Hercules.
The idea that Angels came down and mated with earth women is not a new concept. It was the constant opinion of antiquity. Flavius Josephus the second century Jewish historian wrote “For many angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their own strength; for the tradition is, That these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians call giants.”68 Also Philo of Alexandria writes about the giants of this time. The great reformer Martin Luther understood the passage to relate to angels mating with earth women. There is part of the Dead Sea scrolls called the book of giants. We have the ancient book of Enoch written around 200 B.C., which states “And it came to pass, after the children of men had increased in those days, beautiful and comely daughters were born to them. And the angels, the sons of the heavens, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: “Behold, we will choose for ourselves wives from among the children of men, and will beget for ourselves children”…and they took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go into them, and mixed with them, and taught them charms and conjurations, and made them acquainted with the cutting of roots and of the woods. And they became pregnant and brought forth great giants…these devoured all the acquisitions of mankind till men were unable to sustain themselves. And the giants turned themselves against mankind in order to devour them.”69
The ancient book of giants found among the Dead Sea scrolls tells the story of how Angels came down to earth saw everything that the earth produced, all the animals, humans and even the trees and grains of every sort and went to them for the purpose of miscegenation. They begot giants and monsters; they caused a great corruption in all the earth.107
Further along in Genesis we find this passage “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God…the earth was also corrupt before God; and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”70
There are those who speculate the dinosaurs were a part of this corruption of earth as this passages says “…God looked upon the earth, and, behold it was corrupt” It may be that literally the entire earth had been corrupted from the way God had created it, mankind most importantly but also the animals and even possibly the vegetation. We see that the Bible says that some number of Angels came down and took for themselves wives “This number was 200 according to the book of Enoch” and begat children who grew into giants. These half angel half human giants intermingled with homosapien man and corrupted his flesh until all flesh was found corrupted excepting Noah who was found “perfect in all his generations” Noah his wife, his three sons and their wives, eight in all were found uncorrupted and put aboard the Ark and saved. It may be that there were others still alive with untainted blood but only Noah and his sons and their wives were found both to be clean in the blood and worshippers of God. The main reason for the flood was the fact that not only was the earth full of wickedness, violence, evil, and corruption but the very seed of man had been corrupted. This is a very deep and important point. According to God’s plan for the earth, the seed of the woman would defeat Satan and restore mans dominion over the earth. The very kinsman redeemer “Jesus Christ” would come from the perfect adamite stock. If for some reason, all the seed of mankind would have become corrupted then it would have been impossible for Jesus the Messiah to come to earth and die on the cross for the sins of the world and Satan would have been victorious over God. Fortunately God in his infinite wisdom foresaw the plan of Satan and made arrangements to save the perfect adamite line while at the same time ridding the entire earth of this evil half human seed. It is important to note that the angels that came down to the earth were fallen angels not the holy angels of God. The sin done by these particular angels were so great that God had to pronounce judgment on them during those days “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day”71 “For if God did not spare the Angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment. And did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly...”108
The earth is in a war, a war between God and all that is holy and the rebellious and deceitful liar Satan and his fallen angels. God is using the earth to deal with this great rebellion in which 1/3 of the angels went over to Satan’s side. God is showing all creation through his dealings with earth his perfect and infinite Love, justice, and judgment. Satan on the other hand is trying to show that he is as great as God, literally to be “like the most high”72
THE NEANDERTHAL LINK
My first question after discovering this fact was if this is true then would we not have some kind of archeological record that would serve as confirmation of the Biblical and historical evidence of these strange creatures? After all, we have dinosaur bones dating back many years. It makes good sense and would not be a surprise at all if there were some remains left intact after this great cataclysmic event. According to some Biblical scholars the estimates of how many people that were actually killed in the flood range from between a billion and two billion. That is a million or more Nephilim half-breed people plus the normal homo sapien sapien people that had been infected with the bad blood. “And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”73 There are those who speculate that indeed all flesh had been corrupted including the animals. It is said that Satan not only changed the DNA of mankind but also that of the animals bringing about the dinosaurs. It is not within the scope of this book to study these challenges however; I do consider this a distinct possibility.
I believe we do in fact have archeological evidence of these creatures called the Nephilim. Is there any evidence of a species that had lived right alongside with Homo sapien man but was at the same time a totally different species? What if we had just such a species complete with a culture, tools, and religion? A species that had different DNA then modern Homo sapien, a species that flourished on the earth until one day it seems it all came to an end? Could it be that we do in fact have archeological evidence of such strange creatures? We do indeed have evidence of another “Human” on earth other then Homo sapien sapien. He is not known to science as Nephilim though he goes by another name. Homo sapien Neanderthaensis, Neanderthal man.
In 1856 workers in the Neander Valley near Duesseldorf, Germany uncovered a skull and bones. The skull was unlike anything seen before, with a flattened cranium with a heavy ridge above very large eye sockets. Other bones were uncovered nearby. In succeeding years many other skeletons were discovered in other countries including Italy, France, Iraq and Israel. Initially no one knew what to make of these finds until French paleontologist Marcellin Boule concluded Neanderthals walked stooped forward. This fit perfectly with the then new popular theory of evolution by Darwin. The Neanderthal became a dumb stooped over pre-human, half ape evolutionary model. In 1957 Boule’s skeleton was re-examined along with many other new skeletal remains. They had at their disposal new equipment and techniques. The new evidence showed that Neanderthal walked upright, Boule’s stooped skeleton it was now known was caused by arthritis. More evidence from various caves and excavations have shown that Neanderthals had weapons, tools, wore ornaments, had cultural and religious rites, and ceremoniously buried their dead. They used fire for cooking, heating and manufacturing. Some recovered skeletons have healed injuries suggesting their wounds were treated. They made music and musical instruments.
There is evidence that Neanderthal were warriors, fighting, torturing and practicing cannibalism. They were considerably larger and stouter then homo sapien. Their joints were larger and bones thicker, they had considerably more muscle with long heavily muscled upper torso and shorter stocky legs. They had very large skulls with cranial capacities of up to 1750 cc. “Modern man averages 1300 to1500 cc.” They had massive jawbones and very large eye sockets. One researcher suggested that a Neanderthal could pickup an NFL football player and throw him through the field goal posts. A Neanderthal because of his greater muscle mass would weigh some 20 pounds more then a modern man of the same height.

In the early days of the Neanderthal discovery it was assumed that Neanderthal was a pre-historic man. He was after the apes but before modern Homo sapien sapien. It was thought that Neanderthal was dumb and animal like and walked hunched over. Fortunately through modern science and archeology we get a much clearer view of whom and what Neanderthal really was. Researchers compared DNA from a Neanderthal skeleton found in Russia (29,000 years old) to an older sample tested in 1997 from Germany (40,000 years old) (This author does not necessarily agree with these dates) While the two Neanderthal samples turned out to be just 3.5 percent different from one another, they were roughly 7 percent different from DNA in modern humans. Scientists consider that a substantial gap. William Goodwin, a molecular biologist at the human identification center in Glasgow, Scotland said “It all points away from the Neanderthal” Referring to the idea that modern man came from Neanderthal. Matthias Hoss an expert in ancient remains now working at the Swiss Institute for Cancer Research said, “The research appears to support the theory that Neanderthals were an evolutionary dead end. This adds quite a lot of confidence that the Neanderthal didn’t contribute to modern populations”74
Fossil evidence shows that these two kinds of humans lived side by side. It is now nearly universally acknowledged that Homo sapien sapien and Homo sapien neanderthalensis lived, fought and struggled side by side. The second century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus had this to say about Noah and the Nephilim, which lived side by side. “ For many angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their own strength; for the tradition is, that these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians call giants. But Noah was very uneasy at what they did; and, being displeased at their conduct, persuaded them to change their dispositions and their acts for the better; but seeing that they did not yield to him, but were slaves to their wicked pleasures, he was afraid they would kill him, together with his wife and children, and those they had married; so he departed out of that land.”75
In an analysis of DNA extracted from the ribs of a Neanderthal infant from Russia, William Goodwin of the University of Glasgow said “There wasn’t much, if any mixture, between Neanderthals and modern humans, Though they co-existed we can’t find any evidence of genetic material being passed from Neanderthals to modern humans”
What is not known scientifically is what happened to Neanderthal that caused his rapid extinction. Some theorize that we modern homo sapiens simply killed off Neanderthal; others suggest that a virus which homo sapien was immune wiped out Neanderthal. What I believe actually happened is recorded in Genesis 6:17,18 “I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.”
Interestingly, in 1899, Dragutin Gorjanovic-Kramberger excavated the cave of Krapina in Croatia. Amongst thousands of animal fossils, there were many human fossils including the remains of at least 60 Neanderthals including children. The presence of children and adults together in the same cave suggests they died in some unusual way, rather than by natural causes.76

The Neanderthal on the left was discovered in the Shanidar Cave, Iraq. It is believed he was in his 40’s at the time of his death. This individual was found lying in the fetal position surrounded by pollen spores representing flowers. It was later revealed that these flowers all served medicinal purposes. The Neanderthal on the right was discovered in La Ferraisse, France. He was discovered in a ritual burial were male and female were buried head to head, one facing east and the other facing west. It is important here to consider the rareness of any Neanderthal / Nephilim skeletal remains. The Bible records that the Nephilim were on the earth during the time of Noah but from other ancient texts we can get bits and pieces added to our mystery. In the book of Enoch it is recorded that the fallen angels called Enoch to be a messenger to God on their behalf. These angels were fearful on account of the evil they had caused and were certain of the judgment about to befall them. It was their hope that Enoch, who was loved by God, might intercede on their behalf and possibly bring about mercy from God. God however, denied their request and pronounced their due judgment.
Enoch’s father was named Jared, his name in Hebrew means “Shall come down”. There are those who believe that it was in the time of Jared that the angels came down to earth and did these evil acts. If we start with Jared and trace the line down through Noah we will get our approximate number of years the Nephilim had on earth to propagate and destroy mankind. Genesis reports that Jared was 162 years old when Enoch was born, Enoch was 65 when Methuselah was born, Methuselah was 187 when Lamech was born, Lamech was 182 when Noah was born and the flood came in the 600th year of Noah’s life.77 All tolled that is 1,196 years depending on the actual time the angels came down during Jared’s life. Anywhere from around 1,000 to 1,800 years was the time the Nephilim had to destroy the perfect adamic line. Keep in mind that the average lifespan of these early patriarchs was 847 years. If we can assume that the Nephilim had similar life spans during these years and similar reproduction then during the 1,000 plus years there would have been anywhere from 10 to 18 generations of Nephilim by the time of the flood assuming a conservative number of a new birth every 100 years. I am sure it was a much greater frequency then every 100 years but for this argument let’s assume it was every 100.
If you take the larger of the numbers and say that the Nephilim had 1,800 years to propagate and then take the average life span on earth in those times which was 847 then you would have only two generations which will have lived and died by the time of the flood. That is two generations out of a possible 18 or more. That means the flood killed by far the vast majority of Nephilim ever born during those 1,800 years. Genesis eight records that the earth did not dry for an entire year, so all the dead bodies of the Nephilim had a year in water to be exposed to the sun wind and water, they were eaten by fish and other sea life undoubtedly. There would have been little or nothing left of those bodies even after only one year. Take also into account that large amounts of silt and earth were moved around in the flood. Some areas were covered by 50 to 100 feet of dirt or more before the flood, and some areas had perhaps 50 or 100 feet or more removed from what it was before the flood. This means that even Nephilim that had been buried prior to the flood would be very difficult to find. There is also evidence that the Nephilim were even cannibalizing themselves. It is no wonder then that a small number of skeletal remains have been found to date. The amount of evidence available through ancient historical and Biblical records including archeology is really quite amazing. It all adds to the theory of this author and to the exact accuracy of the Bible.
PLAN B: THE SECOND COMING OF THE NEPHILIM
After the Lord had disposed of this Satanic plot to destroy the seed of mankind with the hybrid Nephilim by means of a world wide flood he then promised Noah and all mankind that never again would he destroy the earth with water. “Never again will life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come; I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”78
So God made a cool covenant with all generations to come that he would not destroy the earth again with a flood and our sign of this covenant is the rainbow! Pretty cool. Unfortunately Satan saw that God made this promise. This must have been really big news to Satan and his minions. After all, they were within the last eight people on earth from destroying God’s plan of sending the kinsman redeemer, Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world. Down to the very last eight when God stepped in and saved his plan by the means of the flood, now here we have God pronouncing this covenant where he would never destroy the earth with a flood again. Ah ha! If the only way Satan’s plan was thwarted was the flood, and now we have this promise of never a flood again then what is to stop Satan with another Nephilim plan?
Our first evidence of this comes from Genesis 6:4 “The Nephilim were in the earth in those days—and also afterward…” The key phrase here is the “…and also afterward…” The Nephilim were in the earth in those days of Noah and the event of the flood …and also afterward… So God is telling us that the Nephilim were not only in the earth at the time of the flood but also sometime after that. Now let’s jump ahead a considerable amount of time to the Israelites who have come out of their slavery in Egypt crossed over the Red sea and have come to the border of the promised land. The promised land of course is the land of Israel that God had promised to Abraham and his descendants way back when Abraham offered Isaac his only son as a sacrifice on the very spot where two thousand years later another only son “Jesus” would be sacrificed for the sins of the world. This is known as a “Type of Jesus” sort of a dress rehearsal you might say. It was done to show what would come two thousand years later when the true sacrifice would take place. God stopped Abraham before he carried out the sacrifice of Isaac and then promised him that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the sea shore, and that his descendents will take possession of the cites of their enemies.79
This is the Promised Land, which had been talked about and handed down from generation to generation since Abraham. The expectation for it was very great because everyone knew that God had taken them out of Egypt to deliver to them the long awaited Promised Land. So now we jump back to the plan of Satan, who knows that God intends to deliver the Israelites to the promised land, he also knows from Bible prophesy the promised kinsman redeemer “Jesus” would come from the promised land and a town there named Bethlehem. “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”80
Satan came up with a plan to stop the Israelites from taking possession of this Promised Land and thereby stopping the arrival of the promised kinsman redeemer that would instantly end the perfect plan of God for mankind and Satan would have been victorious over God. What was this plan? This plan was to fill the Promised Land full of giants. Similar to the first plan at the flood only instead of filling the entire earth full of the Nephilim only the Promised Land was filled. Also the number of years to accomplish the filling of the land was around 500 whereas beforehand there were around 1200 to 1800 years for the first Nephilim of the flood to develop.
The first evidence that this was the plan of Satan comes from Numbers 13:26-28. The Israelites have now come out of Egypt and are poised to enter the Promised Land. Moses chooses and then sends in 12 spies to check out the land and to see the peoples who inhabited the land. After the spies had returned we get this report. “They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land. They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cites are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.”
Understand that it was well known to the Israelites who the descendants of Anak were. It had been handed down for hundreds of years the account of the times of Noah and the events of the flood. Shem, one of Noah’s three sons was a direct ancestor of Abraham, from Abraham came Isaac and from Isaac came Jacob. It was Jacob and his family who first entered Egypt because of a great famine. It was very well understood that to be a descendant of Anak meant you were one of the feared Nephilim. This was a shocking development. “We even saw descendants of Anak there!” The Bible records that ten of these spies were so fearful of what they saw that they spread evil reports about the Promised Land throughout the camp. “And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”81
That night after the spies had reported, the entire assembly of Israelites were afraid and wept aloud. Then they grumbled against Moses and Aaron and complained that a better fate would have been to die in Egypt or in the Desert. They wondered if God and Moses had led them to be killed in the Promised Land. They even wanted to choose a leader who would lead them back to Egypt! Then Joshua and Caleb the two spies with the good reports spoke up before the entire assembly: “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land; a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”82 Also in Deuteronomy 1:26-28 “You grumbled in your tents and said, “The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, “The people are stronger and taller then we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky, we even saw the Anakites there.” Then I said to you “Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert. This valiant speech by the two great men of God apparently went unheard because directly after that the Bible records: “But the whole assembly talked about stoning them”83 God’s anger then burns because of the peoples unbelief even after all the miracles in Egypt and during the time in the desert. God basically tells Moses to stand back he is going to wipe out all these wicked and unbelieving people but Moses begged God to spare the people and so God spared them. But this is when God pronounces that this generation will not inherit the Promised Land but die in the desert, which is exactly what happened, all died except for the two spies with the good report. Satan’s plan was at this point working. After 40 years of wandering in the desert the last fighting man of that generation finally died. It is then that they entered the Promised Land this time ready to follow God and subdue the peoples of the land.
The Bible does not say how or by whom this second batch of Nephilim came. It only reports that they were in fact in the Promised Land at this time. We can only speculate on the possible means of this second hybrid occurrence. We know that the angels responsible for this first sin were thrown into the pit until the judgment of the great day because their sin was so great. Some speculate that to create these Nephilim a second time Satan and his minions used other means then actually taking for themselves wives in order to avoid such a swift punishment. Some suggest that perhaps a system of test tube engineering could have been used. As strange as this may sound there does seem to be evidence that points to just such a system which will be examined more closely in later chapters.
Now the Israelites are positioned on the border of the Promised Land a second time. All the former generation has now died and Joshua leads Israel. It is here that the Lord commands the Israelites to do something that is very harsh and has been a very difficult thing for many people to understand how this could possibly be true. The Lord commands the army to go in and subdue the land and to kill every single man, woman, and baby. It is very difficult to understand why the Lord is commanding his people to kill innocent babies. “When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebustites, seven nations larger and stronger then you—and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy.”86
I understand the difficulty in hearing this and it seems like God is pronouncing an evil edict himself until it is understood that the people of this land are not ordinary people. They are the Nephilim, the second attempt to stop God’s perfect plan for the earth. They are literally the seed of Satan, hybrid giants. Also known as the Anakites, and the Raphaites. So God commanded them: “Hear, O Israel, you are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger then you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. The people are strong and tall—Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: Who can stand up against the Anakites?” But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly as the Lord has promised you.”87
The Israelites after this pep talk from God were ready to fight! Even against the mighty giants of the land. Among the first battles is the fight against Sihon king of Heshbon. “When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz, the Lord our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army. At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them—men, women, and children. We left no survivors.”88 Next the Israelites came upon Og king of Bashan, Og you will see was a giant in the truest sense of the word. “We took all the towns on the plateau, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salecah and Edreishan. (Only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaites. His bed was made of iron and was more then thirteen feet long and six feet wide. It is still in Rabbah of the Ammonites.)”89
So Joshua and the Israelites continued throughout the land destroying all the Nephilim that were there. “At that time Joshua went and destroyed the Anakites from the hill country: from Hebron, Debir and Anab, from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel. Joshua totally destroyed them and their towns. No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza, Gath and Ashdod did any survive. So Joshua took the entire land, just as the Lord had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal divisions. Then the land had rest.”90 It is interesting to note that the only Anakites to survive were in Gaza, Gath and Ashdod. These places were outside of the boundaries of the Promised Land. Later the Israelites run into a giant philistine from Gath who was known by the name of Goliath.
Most people have heard the story of David and Goliath. The important thing to remember is that not only was Goliath a giant. He was a descendent of the Anakites, a Nephilim, probably among the last few Nephilim in the world. Goliath was the champion of champions, a massive hunk of fighting hybrid evil. “A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall. He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing 125 pounds; on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed 15 pounds.”92 The boy David, who would later become the king of Israel slew the giant with a single stone and then cut off his head. Goliath, who was the champion of Satan was taunting and cursing God until a boy with a sling killed him. God often uses the small and weak to bring down the proud and mighty.
The mighty men of David slowly killed the remaining Nephilim. “ In the course of time, war broke out with the Philistines, at Gezer. At that time Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Sipai, one of the descendants of the Rephaites, and the Philistines were subjugated. In another battle with the Philistines, Elhanan son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver’s rod. In still another battle, which took place at Gath, there was a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot—twenty-four in all. He also was descended from Rapha. When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimea, David’s brother, killed him. These were the descendants of Rapha in Gath, and they fell at the hands of David and his men.”93
This account with the six fingers is an interesting thing. It is said that the Sioux Indians had a peculiar custom that they would engage in whenever they happened upon a stranger. They would hold up their hand palm out like in a “stop” signal. This was done so they could count the fingers on the hand of the stranger. It is said that the Sioux feared the six fingered star people.

This rock painting was found in a cave in Australia. It is estimated at being at least 5,000 years old; it was painted by Australian Aborigine’s and is believed by some to be a representation of visiting aliens. Notice the hand in the painting, six fingers. I am not sure what to make of it but it is very provocative.
It is my belief that most of the Nephilim were not true giants. They were bulky and stocky and very strong but their height was generally around that of modern man except that their bodies would have been similar to a Mr. Universe. It is my belief that the greatest of the giants were the direct relatives of the angel human offspring. I think it is probable that as the genes of the first Nephilim became more thinned the people became smaller and smaller until you finally had a Nephilim about the height of a normal homo sapien. Of course he would still be stocky and strong only not as tall. If this were the case then Goliath would have been small compared to these first Nephilim of which the Bible speaks when it says “…They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”94 The second phase of the coming of the Nephilim had failed. The Israelites had captured the land God had promised to Abraham hundreds of years earlier and were setting up for the coming of the Son of God. God had once again foiled Satan’s plan.

MORE ON GIANTS
There are many stories of giant skeletons such as the 15-foot skeleton found in the late 1950’s in southeast Turkey, the 19-foot skeleton found in 1577 A.D. under an overturned oak tree in the Canton of Lucerne, reportedly a 23-foot tall skeleton found in 1456 beside a river in Valence, France.95

A nine-foot eight-inch skeleton was excavated from a mound near Brewersville, Indiana. 96 In February and June of 1931 large skeletons were found in the Humboldt lakebed near Lovelock Nevada. One was 8 and ½ feet long the other was almost 10 feet long. 97 A seven foot seven inch skeleton was reported to have been found on the Friedman ranch, near Lovelock, Nevada in 1939. 98 Other finds of giant bones and giant tools have been reported in Australia. In the USA giant bones have been reportedly found in New York State near Rutland, Lompock Rancho, California, Zanesville, Ohio, Warren Minnesota, Clearwater Minnesota, Death Valley, California and many other places. In 1932 Ellis Wright found human tracks in the gypsum rock at White Sands, New Mexico. His discovery was later backed up by Fred Arthur, Supervisor of the Lincoln National Park and others who reported that each footprint was 22 inches long. In 1936 Larson Kohl, the German paleontologist and anthropologist, found the bones of gigantic men on the shore of Lake Elyasi in Central Africa. Other giant skeletons were later found in Hava, the Transvaal and China.
According to the Indianapolis News, November 10, 1975 a nine foot eight inch skeleton was excavated from a mound near Brewersville, Indiana in 1979. St. Paul Pioneer Press reported on May 23, 1883 that ten skeletons of both sexes and of gigantic size were taken from a mound at Warren, Minnesota. Also on June 29th, 1888 the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported the discovery of seven skeletons 7 to 8 feet tall. The Chicago Record reported on October 24th, 1895 that A mound near Toledo, Ohio held 20 skeletons seated and facing east with jaws and teeth “twice as large as those of present day people”, and beside each was a large bowl curiously wrought with hieroglyphic figures. This is only a small sampling of the reports of giant skeletons in the U.S. The remains of all these giant bones are nearly entirely unavailable to the point some might charge conspiratorial. Even so according to Dr. Louis Burkhalter the evidence for the existence of giants is incontrovertible. “A scientifically assured fact”

Five skulls were found that still exist in Ica, Peru, and Merida, Mexico. They have a brain cavity area ranging from 2200 CC to 3200 CC. Modern humans average 1450 CC in size with the largest human skull to date at 1980 CC. All these skulls have Neanderthal characteristics. They are huge in size and come from an unknown species according to science. In fact according to science they do not exist at all but for the fact that they are viewable today. It is not well known that giants once roamed the earth. It is however a fact, a fact that does not come as a surprise to me because it has been recorded by our Lord “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:4
PLAN C, THE FINAL APPEARANCE OF THE NEPHILM
“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also it will be in the days of the Son of Man.”99 This mystery was told by Jesus himself to his disciples. The meaning of the phrase “…in the days of the Son of Man.” Means literally the second coming of Jesus. Jesus is telling his disciples and us that the very last days of earth time, shortly before his second coming and the judgment of the world would be as in the days of Noah. You will recall what was going on in the days of Noah. “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.”100
The book of Enoch says that the Nephilim were actually devouring the earth and that Noah himself was afraid of them. But the very number one fact about the time of the flood of Noah is that the Nephilim were on the earth at that time. Could this mean that in the end times just before the return of Jesus we might also see a return of the Nephilim? Let’s examine another important piece of evidence. In the book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream from God. (See Daniel chapter 2 to read the entire account) This dream is a major piece of Bible prophesy. In the dream he see’s a great image. The head of this image was of pure gold, the chest and arms were of silver, his belly and thighs were of brass, his legs were of iron, and his feet were of part iron and part clay. God had just given the 4 major powers that will rule the earth from Nebuchadnezzar’s time until the end of the world in a dream. There is a lot of strange and hard to understand things about this dream but fortunately Daniel is the only one found who can translate the dream for Nebuchadnezzar and us so that we can have some incredible understanding about this part of Bible prophesy.
“You O king, are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; in your hands he has placed mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds of the air. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.”101
It is well documented in historical records that Nebuchadnezzar was the king of the first great power on earth, Babylon. “After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours.”102 The second great kingdom of earth was the Meads and the Persian kingdom, which literally took Babylon without a fight under Darius. “Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth.”103 This kingdom was the Greeks under the rule of Alexander the great. “Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”104
We know from Bible prophesy (see Daniel chapter 2 and 7) that this last kingdom will actually be twice. The first time was the mighty Roman Empire, and the second will be the revived Roman empire of the last days. So the prophecy foretold by Daniel is announcing the major kingdoms that will rule the world. They were and are in this order.
1) Babylon
2) Medes and Persian
3) Greek
4a) Romans
4b) Revived Roman Empire
We have seen the first 4 powers come and go in world history but are still awaiting the second coming of the revived Roman Empire. This revived empire we have seen will be “…Partly of baked clay and partly of iron.” In the interpretation of this Daniel says: “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” This passage is huge, and it gives us a gigantic clue as to what will be going on in the last days. It is my belief that what the prophet Daniel is telling us is that during the last days we will once again, and for the third time see the Nephilim upon the earth. Daniel talks about how they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men but they shall not cleave to one another just as iron and clay do not mix. This is a very familiar episode, one that is recorded through Biblical records, historical records, and archeological records since the time of the flood of Noah.
I believe however, that this third coming of the Nephilim could be quite different then the first two times. The first Nephilim at the time of the flood were giant brutes. They destroyed mankind with brute force, the raw power of superior strength. The second time of the Nephilim was also a show of brute force. It was the attempt to stop the Israelites from inhabiting the Promised Land. The very land where God was to play out his will through Israel. As we know from history, those two attempts failed. I believe Satan will have a change of strategy for this third and final attempt. I believe it will be not with the use of brute force but with the use of deception.
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”105
This passage gives us further insight as to how things will be during the last days. The coming of the lawless one refers to the Antichrist and how he will be allied with Satan. He will use this power to display false miracles, signs and wonders to deceive the unsaved world. In addition to all this it goes on to say that God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned. This is a very serious and sobering insight. There will be a deception so grand and on such a scale that literally the entire unbelieving world will accept this deception as truth. About these terrible days Christ himself told his disciples “ For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.”106
The Lord is telling us that these deceptions that will take place for the unbelieving world will be so great that even the elect, that is the saved of the world, will believe it if that were possible. In other words this final great deception is so great that everyone will believe it! It does not matter what your background is or who you are, you will believe it. Fortunately the Lord gives us a disclaimer as it were “…to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.” Of course this very verse tells us it is not possible for the elect to believe it. But if it were not for the intervention of God even the elect would believe it. We can speculate that it is probable that the elect will not be on earth at this time or if the elect are on earth at this time then the Lord through his Holy Sprit will indeed intervene in order that the elect will not believe the lie.
What then could this deception possibly be? I think if we compile all our evidence, the historical records, archeological records, and Biblical records and add to this the circumstantial UFO and related material that a plausible scenario could be arranged something like this:
“Suppose at some point in earth’s future (Say after the rapture of the church for example.) the president of the United States along with other prominent world leaders were to make an announcement. (Keep in mind that the idea of intelligent life on other planets and the belief in UFO’s continue to grow more popular every year along with numerous other credible UFO sightings and contact reports from all over the world up to the time of this announcement.) In this announcement it is revealed that the earth has in fact been visited by beings from another galaxy, actually many other beings from many different galaxies. That the United States and some other major powers have actually been in communication with these visitors for many years now and have come to the consensus that the time has come for these visitors to be revealed to the general public. It will be revealed that we first made contact with these visitors chiefly from the Zeta Reticuli system through our space program in the 60’s and 70’s. (The Grey type alien is alleged to have arrived from the star Zeta Reticuli system) In three months time there will be a general landing open for the world to see on every continent in the world. The chief of these landings will take place in London England the prime meridian and “middle as it were” of the world. Every country in the world will have three months to ready its populations for the big visit. There will be news programs on every station in the world, Radio, TV, and Satellite, to bring the news worldwide. These programs will be complete with pictures of the visitors, their ships and every conceivable fact about who they are and where they come from. There will be many documentaries on when we first made contact and what has gone on since then over the years. It will be evident to everyone that these alien visitors are friendly.
Most people will not even be all that shocked due to the increase in sightings and other phenomena. It will almost be a relief to know that there is an answer to all the strangeness of these past so many years. The landings will be preceded by a number of emissaries who will be carried live on CNN and every major network in the world. It will be quite plain to everyone except a few kooks and conspiracy theorists that we have nothing to fear. In fact we will be overjoyed to learn of the new technology and cures for disease that we will have heard the aliens will bring. After the three months time has passed and most of the world is prepared and ready for the landings they will come. Every TV set in the world will be tuned in to see this unbelievable, remarkable event in human history. It will be something such as was seen in the movie “Independence Day” with two or three mile wide space ships that seem to hover silently in place. These ships will have as many as 400,000 aliens on board each. There will be a holiday atmosphere on this day, the bands will play, the president of the USA and other world leaders will be ready to accept and welcome our new friends.
These new friends will call themselves Zeta’s and although there are many different aliens from other places the Zeta’s are most responsible for our creation and therefore the first to have an open contact with the human race. These Zeta’s will come in peace, they will tell the true story of the human race. They will tell how some 50,000 years ago it was decided by the Zeta’s that they would attempt to create another species of creature on earth as had already been done successfully on many other planets. This creature would be given every opportunity to thrive on it’s own and to grow at it’s own pace. They had the necessary technology to manipulate their own DNA along with other different alien races’ to establish on earth a number of human types of breeding stock that would start a survival of the fittest battle until one race was firmly established. That race became known as the human race. The other major type of humanoid that died out would include the Neanderthal along with other not so populated early hominoid types. The Zeta’s will not only tell the story of how this all took place they will show us the videotape, their version of a DVD cataloging the entire process if you will. As if this were not enough they will show our scientists and doctors the entire laboratory process to accomplish this feat.
They will show how they have been keeping an eye on our progress over these many thousands of years. How they have had to make several adjustments to our DNA along the way. They will answer every question we have and every mystery we have ever had. The Piramids? No problem. Stonehenge? That’s easy! Methodically every earth mystery that has ever been known will be answered and many that are unknown. It will be revealed that even religion in its various forms was created by the Zeta’s because they knew from past experience that simple creatures as humans need hope to survive. So they put in our brains a need to worship a higher power. Even Jesus Christ himself was designed by the Zeta’s because we needed to learn a form of Love and peace that came through the design of Christianity lest the world destroy itself though hatred.
The disappearance of millions of humans shortly before their arrival will be explained as a necessary short term removal in order to bring about a new age in humanity. Some humans were not sufficiently prepared or ready to make the jump as it were to a new higher form of human. These will be brought back in due time when they are ready to join the rest of human kind. The Zeta’s will be ready to give out numerous cures for every conceivable disease that plagues the human race. In addition they will solve the worlds problems of famine, drought, and flooding. They will urge the world community to appoint a single ruler who is able to lead in all decisions. (See the Biblical teaching for the antichrist) This world leader will be hand picked by the Zeta’s to come from a central part of the world. The European community, which has already united a good portion of the world under one leader, currency and laws will work perfectly. This leader will have a close connection to the Zeta’s either through his bloodline or through his brain (Telepathically). The Zeta’s wishing to interfere least as possible will then allow this man room to lead the world as he will see fit. Over the next months and years this super leader along with his close connection to the Zeta’s will solve nearly every single problem of mankind. Political, environmental, and sociological problems will fade to a minimum. The popularity and support for this charismatic leader will come to near worldwide trust. He will even bring about world peace. This war torn and tattered world with all its ills will have a time of rest. A time like no other in our history, everyone will be happy and content with their lives knowing and trusting that everything will be fine after having seen all these wonderful things come to pass after the visit from our distant relatives.” End
Who, after all of these truths and amazements, these proofs before our eyes will not believe it? Indeed it will be believed just as phophesied in 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12

Remember that the people who are alive upon the earth at this time are about to face the judgment of God. Earth time has finally run it’s course and God is ready to judge the unbelieving world. The Biblical teaching of the rapture of the church will most likely already have happened and those who are left are the ones who have refused to believe in the Lord no matter what and so God sends them “or allows” a powerful delusion to come upon the entire world so that he can now judge them exactly at the time he had set before the foundation of the world.
The UFO’s and alien peoples are part of Satan’s deception. The disappearance of the millions of people explained by the Zeta’s will be nothing more then a cover for the rapture or “God’s great evacuation” as I like to call it. Since the Lord tells us in 1st Thessalonians 5:9 and Revelation 3:10 that we are not to suffer his wrath and that he will keep us from the time of his wrath we know that this evacuation must take place before this great deception. That is why the cover story by the Zeta’s about the disappearance of the millions. The arrival and suggestion by the Zeta’s that we appoint a one-world leader ultimately will be the Antichrist. The rest of God’s plan will be played out from there exactly as it is laid out in Bible prophesy.
After years of searching and researching these strange phenomena it is this authors belief that everything in this writing is connected. The crop circles for example are mostly fakes and fantasy but there is something deeper. A power and a truth behind some of these phenomena that is real. It is a phenomena controlled by a higher power then mere humans, a power that is bent on deceiving and leading us astray. The ultimate goal of the crop circle phenomena is to deceive.

Perhaps even Big Foot can be added to the list along with a hundred other unknowns.
The entire UFO phenomena cannot be proven at this time, either can any single facet of these phenomena; it is impossible to prove when it comes from the spiritual world. We do however have evidence that I think shows a reasonable spiritual influence into all these phenomena. This evidence I believe points at this time to such a scenario as stated above. I do not know when or how such a scenario would take place. There are a million different variations that are possible. I only know that it is prudent and vital to understand that we live in a time where strange things happen, things that are unbelievable and shocking, things that are hard to understand and even harder to deal with on a daily basis. All throughout Bible times things happened exactly according to prophesy, but they also nearly always happened in a way the people did not expect and often times did not understand until they could look back years or decades later. I am convinced that these end times will be much the same way. It will happen so quickly and in such a way as we do not expect but we do not have to be totally ignorant of these spiritual battles. No one can say for certainty if UFO’s will play a roll, on this we can only speculate. We can however be on our guard and ready for the strangeness in these times that we live and we can rely and take comfort in God’s will, understanding that he is in control of all these things and that everything is going right on his schedule.
