Ralph Lee Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Dear RHS Senior,

Thank you for applying for the Ralph Lee Johnson Memorial Scholarship. This Scholarship was established to honor the memory of my father. He was a truly amazing man who dedicated his life to enriching the lives of all who knew him. He was a truly selfless and honorable man who believed that hard work and dedication would make a man or woman successful. He also believed in being kind to your fellow neighbor and reaching out with a helping hand whenever someone was in need. The scholarship will be given to a graduating senior who will be attending college or trade school. The student must be a well-rounded student who is successful academically, but also is involved in school sponsored activities/clubs, volunteers in their community, and exemplifies honorable character. Each student is to complete an application with grade and activity verification as well as a written essay. My father was an honorable man and he passed that trait on to his children as well as his grandchildren. As a result we hope to pay it forward and honor him.
