Study visit on TVET System of Sri Lanka by Afghanistan Delegation

From 28 January to 01 February 2019, an Afghanistan TVET delegation has visited Sri Lanka under the coordination of TVEC's UNEVOC Centre. The visit was an opportunity to visit several training centres in the private and state sectors, including the National Vocational Training CenterNarahenpita, the Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre the Wayamba Technical College, the Vocational Training Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, the Ceylon - German Technical Training Institute, as well as the University of Vocational Technology (UNIVOTEC) and the College of Technology ? Maradana. During their stay, the delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the Vocational Education and Training System of Sri Lanka, the national competency standard and curricular development, the mapping of NVQ with other qualifications etc.
