The objective of this document is to providestep by step instructions for installing the NBSE Offline Data Entry Software

Prerequisite

Before proceeding for installation, below are the minimum list of requirements:-

✓ Minimum Operating Size: Windows XP Service Pack 3

✓ .Net Framework 4.0 (Included in Windows XP Setup File Package)

✓ Windows Installer 3.0 (Included in Windows XP Setup File Package)

Steps

7 Step to Extract the Setup File.

Right click on the Zip file. Select Extract Here (f13setup.zip)

8 Step to install the Software.

Click on the Setup Exe file and follow the instructions (f13setup.exe)

This Form provides functionality to change or modify the install location of the Application. You may change the path or set it to default which does not affect the functionality of the Application

You may launch the Program by Checking Launch the Program and Clicking on Finish the First time the program gets installed.

A Shortcut is created on the desktop for you to access the application. You may also access the Application by going to windows start button/Program Files

This is the First screen that loads when the Application runs.

Select the session District and school for which you want to enter the student details. You may type the name of the school in the third field to search and select your school or to type a School name not provided in the Dropdown List for Field Three

1 Step to start Using the Application

Once the installation is over the above screen will appear. Select the Session, District and School and click “Enter Data”. The following page will appear.

2 Step for Data Entry.

Click on the Data Entry, select the form. Fill all the required data on the left side. Click on verify to verify your input. If there is any changes to make click on the “Edit” button. Else Click confirm.

3 Step to Save the Data

To save the Data clicked on the save button. Select a location to save the data give a name to the file and click save.

(N.B. The file saved after all entries are completed is to be sent/mailed to the Board – nbseforms@)

4 Step to Print the File.

To print the data click on the “Print” Button. Select the printer. Make sure the paper size is “Legal” and orientation:“Landscape” format.

5 Step to Close the Application and Exit.

Always make sure to save your files before you close the application. The Application does not automatically save your file.

To close the application click on “Close” button but make sure all your data are saved before you close the application. Click “Yes”. To exit the Application clicked on Exit Button.

6 Step toOpen a File

To open file which is saved earlier clicked on “Open File” select the file to open click “open”.

7 Re-Start Application

To start the application after closing it, you can select the shortcut button on your desktop. Double click it to start the application.
