Style and Shine Pageant & Modelling is located in Wollongong New South Wales. It's philosophy is to give performers and aspiring models an opportunity to compete in an encouraging atmosphere.

Whether you're competing in your first pageant or a seasoned pageant entrant, Style and Shine Pageant & Modelling gives you the opportunity to shine.

Style and Shine Pageant & Modelling will hold its third competition on Thursday 10th October 2019 at Woonona High School, 12 Nicholson Road Woonona..

The day will consist of 3 sections and 3 optionals.

There will be many prizes given out on the day, but most importantly we will have a fun and supportive day.

Pageant Information:

Date: - Thursday 10th October 2019

Address: - Woonona High School, 12 Nicholson Road Woonona

Additional Information: - Plenty of parking on site as well as accommodation in Wollongong (around 15 minutes from venue). - Canteen facilities available at the venue for food and beverages.

Entry to watch the pageant: - $10 for the whole day. - Children under 10 are free

Prizes include:

- Every entrant is given a participation prize. - Contestant with the highest overall score in the pageant will win the title

"Miss Winter Wonderland 2019" - Miss Winter Wonderland will be 1st in the pageant and will win crown, sash and

goody bag

- 2nd overall will win sash, crown and goody bag - 3rd overall will win sash, crown and goody bag

In each age group there will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd given for the contestants not progressing to a higher title.

The winners of the optional sections, those contestants who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd will win a prize.

Sections:

- $120 for entry

Included sections in entry:

- Style wear: modelling fashion - Formal Wear: evening wear or party dress - Winter Wonderland Theme: How creative can you be?

Optionals:

- $20 each - Photos - Talent - Friend & Me

Examples of outfits:

- Formal Wear: is a dress the contestant would wear to a party or event. It's up to the contestant whether they wear a gown or cupcake style dress.

- Style Wear is an off the rack outfit. It can be casual, fancy or swimwear. Any outfit that shows your individual style and fashion sense.

- Winter Wonderland Theme: be creative to our theme.

Examples of Optionals:

- Photos (send a photo via email to styleandshinepageant@ photos will be judged prior to event.)

- Talent (can be a dance, song, tricks ... any talent you may have) - Friend & Me (same as Talent but with your friend)

Make up is not mandatory, however it's up to the contestant whether they choose to wear it or not.

The stage will have 4 X's marked on it. For all sections except talent, contestants must meet all the X's on stage in their routine. This shows the contestant is utilising the stage. Example of the X layout on the stage is shown below:

Contestants will be marked on:

- Presentation: The choice of outfit or clothing. Is it age appropriate? Does it suit the contestant and fit well? Does it suit the music or theme?

- Stage Presence: Is the stage utilised? Does the contestant enjoy the routine, smile and make eye contact?

- Creativeness: Is the outfit creative? Does the routine have a unique cool theme? - Poise: the contestants posture, does the contestant look relaxed and having fun on

stage.

Music:

- Music is to be clearly labelled and brought on a USB or CD on the day of the pageant. It is to be handed in at the registration desk.

- Music for all sections is to be no longer than 90 seconds. Except for talent as it can be no longer than 2 minutes.

The Pageant schedule:

Approximate time schedule depending on the amount of entrants.

- Pageant commences at 1:00pm

Formal wear will start at 1:00pm Followed by:

- Style wear - Winter Wonderland theme

Optionals: - Photos - Talent - Friend & Me

Crowning will commence at 5:00pm
