ABOUT BRYANT PARK

Today Bryant Park is one of the world's busiest public spaces, with 1,000+ free programs and events hosted annually. Lush grounds feature seasonal displays with hundreds of planters, herbaceous perennials and annuals, and woody plants.

In warmer months, The Rink is replaced by the Lawn, a popular sunbathing and lunch destination that draws thousands of devoted users daily. Visitors enjoy the park's graceful tree-lined promenades, free public WiFi, and the newly renovated luxurious bathrooms.

A stroll through the park reveals eight monuments, from the park's namesake, poet William Cullen Bryant, to Mexican national hero Benito Juarez. Others include writer Gertrude Stein, Brazilian independence leader Jos? Bonif?cio de Andrada e Silva, and reform leader Josephine Shaw Lowell.

To learn more about the park's history and architecture, join our weekly public tour of the park every Wednesday from 11am-noon. Register at or email tours@ for groups larger than six.
