Pat Sloan Block 6 directions Solstice Challenge

Block 6/25

The Crosswalk

One Hundred Eighty-Two Day Solstice Challenge Hosted by Pat Sloan At

I'm having fun with this quilt of mine. Over the 20 years that I've been designing quilt patterns I have created a LOT of sketches on papers and in notebooks. They are full of blocks, drawings and parts of quilts.

Looking through the sketches and notes I am finding

Little tidbits of ideas to expand.

SQUARE Block to 12.5" x 12.5"

`The Crosswalk' is one of those funky sketches.

Finished in the quilt is Size 12"

What is a crosswalk anyway? A connector from here to there.

A safe path across a busy place. And it could just be life letting us play a little with our fabric.

The Solstice challenge spans 182 between the winter and summer Solstice this year. Well be making a quilt with 25 blocks... and Somewhere along this journey I'll give you a setting.

Enter your email to get the notice of each new block, and join my online group to can share with everyone!
