Target Audience

The primary audiences for the Health IQ app are:

Consumers Healthcare Providers Public Health Professionals

We have learned a lot from developing the Solve the Outbreak app; the app has had a tremendous amount of success in schools and we wanted capitalize on that success.

With this app, we decided to target a slightly younger audience and designed the app for middle school students.

Since we know that more students have smartphones than tablets, we optimized the design for smartphones.

Trivia Questions

The information in the Health IQ app focuses on key public health facts and quick tidbits that younger students can remember/retain while having fun playing a 10 question quiz that takes about a minute to play.
