Grab the Corner of the Blanket group activities (crafts)

lambsongs.co.nz Down Through the Roof- (Scroll down to this.) A fun interactive craft that the children reenact lowering the man through the roof. Click on Activity 1, 2, 3, 4. For directions on how to do craft click on Instructions.

Stand Up and Walk- A craft that allows a hands-on experience of Jesus telling a cripple man that his sins are forgiven and the man stands up and walks. (Crafts from your favorite Bible Stories by Kathy Ross, pages 44 & 45).

Towel Travel- A paralyzed man's four friends were so convinced that Jesus could help their friend get better; they carried him on a mat all the way to the house where Jesus was. (The Really Big Book of Bible Games, page 117.)

The Blanket Race The Blanket Race- Introduce game: You and I have friends who need to come to Jesus. It may not be easy, but if each of us will do our part, together we can succeed. We may meet obstacles, but we must never give up. We must hold on to our corner of the blanket and carry on until we bring them to Jesus. (Play the game as posted, but for added fun you can also have obstacles that the team has to carry the person through to get to their goal.)
