International Shipping Instructions for Samples

Shipping Samples to the United States

IMPORTANT NOTICE: STRATUM RESERVOIR DOES NOT DO BUSINESS OR RENDER SERVICES FOR THE DIRECT OR INDIRECT BENEFIT OF CUBA, IRAN, NORTH KOREA, SUDAN, SYRIA, OR CRIMEA REGION OF THE UKRAINE, OR A NATIONAL OF THESE COUNTRIES. SAMPLES FROM THESE COUNTRIES OR RELATED TO OPERATIONS OWNED OR CONTROLLED BY ANY ENTITY FROM THESE COUNTRIES WILL BE REJECTED.

For expedited and assured delivery, do not mail your samples.

International Shipments

Please contact Stratum Reservoir prior to sending shipment.

Please arrange all shipments with an International Freight Forwarder (e.g. Kuehne+Nagel, DHL Global Forwarding, Pentagon Freight, DB Schenker) or a courier service (e.g. DHL Express or FedEx) when shipping samples to the U.S.

? Stratum Reservoir's customs broker is Green Worldwide Shipping, and they should be listed as the notify party when Stratum Reservoir or Stratum Reservoir (Isotech) LLC is listed as the Consignee on the documents.

Detailed Description o The following must be included with the description: "Geological (Rock, Core, or Soil**) sample for analysis only". To expedite customs clearance, add the sampling depth for rock and soil samples. o The following must be included with the descriptions of Oil/Gas Samples: "Geological (Sweet Oil, Sour Oil***, Gas, or Sour Gas***) sample for analysis only".

Value of sample o Value of sample must be determined by the Customer, and include the value of mineral sample and cost of packaging. If the customer determines that the value of the mineral sample is nil, the declared value of the sample at minimum must include the value of packaging. o The following note must be added for all Rock, Core, Soil**, or Oil samples: "Geological Rock/Soil/Oil sample for analysis only. Value for Custom purposes only"

Harmonized Tariff code (line-item specific) If you need guidance determining the harmonized tariff code you may contact the Stratum Reservoir Logistics team (tom.coney@) for assistance.

Country of Origin* = Country in which the samples was taken.

*Samples without the country of origin will be delayed upon arrival to the U.S. The shipment will be

held, until the information is provided. All additional charges will be billed to the customer.

**If you are providing "soil" samples, with "soil" being defined as the top 10 feet of earth. This will require the shipment to be fumigated and the fumigation certs will need to be provided.

***Sour Gas/Oil would be a sample that does or could contain Hydrogen Sulfide. Please note that these are Hazardous samples and should be packed by an approved Hazardous packing company for transport. These may have to travel by ocean due to the nature of the samples. Please refer to the current IATA and IMDG regulations when shipping these samples.

Shipping Documents

Prior to shipment, a copy of the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, and Dangerous Goods Declaration will need to be sent to the below email addresses to ensure timely delivery and avoid any storage fees:

PACKAGING

Pack the samples securely, ensuring that each sample is clearly labeled with a sample number. When using wooden boxes or pallets always use heat or chemical treated material marked with IPPC Logo. Please see the below example.

HAZ-MAT SHIPPING

Please ensure that all Hazardous Material (HAZ-MAT) shipments are properly packed and labeled per IATA/IMDG/DOT regulations depending on the mode of transportation. Once packed and the Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods has been completed by a Haz-Mat certified person/company, please include a copy of this document with your pre-alert. If for any reason you have a question if an item is HAZ-MAT, please contact either your freight forwarder or the Stratum Reservoir Trade Compliance Team, and provide them a copy of the MSDS and a detailed description of the goods and they will advise if it is HAZ-MAT. Please do not mix HAZ-MAT in the same packaging.

Examples of HAZ-MAT:

H2S gas Oil or Oil that could contain H2S Compressed gas Gas cylinders (empty or full) Chemicals

The attached TSCA form will also need to be completed and attached with the shipping documents for the movement of any hazardous materials.
