BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Check your arrival time Before traveling to campus, please check your MyUHDS for your assigned hall, room, roommate information, and arrival time. We assign move-in day arrival times by the hour to help with traffic flow, elevator availability, and volunteer staffing. myuhds.oregonstate.edu

Stay informed Familiarize yourself with the move-in guide available on the UHDS website and the New Student Guide app downloadable to smartphones. Here you will find campus maps, check-in information, and frequently asked questions. Also, pay attention to your ONID email. Web: uhds.oregonstate.edu/move-in-guide App: app/OSUGuide

Unwrap and unbox at home Unwrap new items from cardboard and packaging before coming to campus. This saves space when you pack and helps prevent an overflow of the campus recycling bins during move in.

Be alert, be prepared Students can sign up to participate in the OSU Alert system to be notified via phone call, email and text in the event of an emergency on campus.

UHDS recommends that all residents purchase supplemental insurance to cover personal property in the event of theft, fire, or other disaster. Students can purchase coverage through their family's existing provider, or through one of many insurance agencies.
