How to Log In How to Reset/Create Your Password If you are a new student, you will need to go to the Student Password Reset option located at the Account login webpage or Current Student webpage and create a password. Please follow the instructions listed on the Student Account Manager Webpage after clicking on the Student Account Manager Tool. The screen below is the Benedictine main page:

Click on LOGIN in the upper right hand corner and it will take you to the following page. This is where the most commonly used student links are found. To reset your student password, click on the link for Student Password Reset.

You will be directed to complete your personal information in the available fields. An example of the student password reset/creation page is shown below.

Click Submit after you enter all your information into the required fields.

If you receive any errors, please contact the Inforamtion Center at 630-829-6684 so we can assist you. If the information was entered correctly, you will be directed to create a new password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and a number. Click Submit once you have entered your requested password. This will change your password for accessing any student use computers on campus, your student email, Desire 2 Learn, MyBenU, and BenUConnect, and campus wireless.

You will receive the following confirmation once the reset is complete. You are now ready to log in and get started!

How to Log onto Campus Computers

You will need to switch user before you can log in. In the User Name field, your b-number, example b1234567. Your password will be the network password that was reset in the previous step.

Desire2Learn

If you are taking on campus courses, your instructor may use Desire2Learn as on online supplement to your in-class learning experience. You will use your student b-number and the network password you reset in the first example to log in, example b1234567.

Online Access to Engage Online only courses are taken through Angel or Engage. The Information Center does not have access to Angel and Engage. If you have any questions or are experiencing any technical issues, please contact the Engage Help Desk at 866-291-1166.

Student Email Your log in for your Office365 email is your student b-number@ben.edu, example b1234567@ben.edu. Use your network password to gain access.

MyBenU is where your personal information, enrollment information, class schedule, payment information, grades etc. are kept. If you are using a campus computer, all you will need to do is enter your b-number as your Username and the network password you created in the first step.

You can click on "Self Service" on the top left which will allow you to access the information you would like.

If you are off campus or using a personal computer you will need to log onto BenUConnect first prior to logging into MyBenU.

BenUConnect

BenUConnect allows you to access to MyBenU (where your student records and enrollment information are kept) if you are off campus. To log into BenUConnect, use your b-number, example b1234567. You will use the network password that you reset in the first step.
