* Please remember there is no parking in front of the Residence Halls; those areas are for loading and unloading only; the space by Chase Hall is also used as our Bus Stop for Soccer and Developmental Aquatics so the buses need plenty of room to be able to get people on and off.

* Opening Ceremonies parade representatives should report to the football field by 6:45 p.m. and line up behind your team sign; please have someone carry this in the parade; team banners are welcome

Visit the calendar for specific events dates.

* Aquatics - no parents or spectators are allowed on the pool decks;only coaches with a deck pass

* Teams should plan on bringing pop up tents and chairs for either the Aquatics or Athletics Tent City areas

* Please remember that our officials are all volunteers and should be treated with respect even if you need to file a protest (which can only be filed by a coach); parents and all coaches should be aware of this as well

* No one should be in any staging area unless an athlete has the necessary dot on their credential; chaperones in this case can be in the tent but should not be sitting in any of the staging chairs

* Golf cart and Bus Shuttles will run continuously as often as possible; a designated golf cart shuttle will be available between the front of Moore Field House and Healthy Athletes

* Please remember that only credentialed volunteers can help team members move into the residence halls; no one else will be allowed to go up on the floors

* Registration will be open from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; if you would like to pick up your team registration materials prior to the Summer Games please contact Sue Mohr at susanm@ and plan to do that by Thursday of games week; late arrivals on Friday will be able to pick up all of their team registrations at the front desk of their Residence Hall

DO YOU HAVE A STORY? You can read about Devin Hohl from SOAZ and her Healthy Athletes Special Smiles experience on the web at . SOCT knows that there are

stories right here in CT and no one knows them better than you because you know your athletes.

SOCT is working with WORX Branding & Advertising to capture our very own stories on film during the Summer Games and we would like your input. Please contact Caitlin caitlind@ or Nora noram@ if you know of an athlete who has such a story and we will follow up. Even if this is a story in the making, let's capture it on film! We Are Back! Join the Unified Sports? Fitness Club as we score in wheelchair basketball, dance in group Zumba, explore the game room and more! Please note in order to participate in the Universal Walk and the activities you must be involved specifically with Unified Sports? Fitness Club and not just Special Olympics.
