Shop with a Hero ? Donations Accepted

Each year, South Lyon Area Youth Assistance partners with the Lyon Township Firefighters, Oakland County Sheriff's Office, and Walmart to bring a unique experience to youth in our area. The kids are given a set amount of money that is used to shop with a Firefighter, Deputy, or Michigan Conservation Officer to purchase gifts for their family members. Once they have completed the shopping experience, they return to the checkout area and have all of their gifts wrapped by volunteers. The shopping date this year is Monday, December 21st. If you or your company would like to make a donation to this local program that serves our community, you can stop by the Township office or mail your donation: Lyon Township ? Shop with a Hero 58000 Grand River Avenue New Hudson, MI 48165 Please make checks payable to Lyon Township and put "Shop with a Hero" in the memo. Please send your donations by December 16th.
