      Lehman High School served Canton and Plain Township from 1938 to 1958 when Glenwood High School opened; as a result, Lehman’s enrollment dropped. In September, 1960, the seventh and eighth grade high ability students were moved into the Lehman building. In March, 1961, Kent State University began using the building for evening classes.
