I deployed to Vietnam four times: Jul ’66, Oct ’67, Mar ’71 and Sep ’72 with Navy Patrol Squadrons; the entire squadron would deploy for six months. We flew P2V Neptunes out of Tan Son Nhut Saigon the first two tours and P-3 Orions out of Cam Ranh Bay the other two tours.
