In one retrospective study of 50 dogs with fever for ≥1 weeks duration, 36/50 had a final diagnosis. 24/50 dogs were diagnosed with non-infectious inflammatory diseases; 9 dogs had an infectious disease; and 3 had a neoplastic disease.
